为什么？人跟人之间智商差两个标准差（30）根本没有什么共同语言。美国gifted定义
是智商125-130，中国留学生小孩达到这个智商的实在太多了。不过智商160（叫做
profoundly gifted,但还不是天才的定义）当然跟130 的小孩还是玩不起来。你如果想
确定你小孩的智商，take Raver Progressive Matrices, 可以测到160。老中小孩达到
160的其实并不多。
其实老中小孩平均智商不如80-90年代来美国的留学生，因为Regression towards the
mean 具体而言，子女的智商，统计上讲在父母平均智商更低些的平均值上分布

而且跟普通人群比更为平均，标准差只有12而不是15。比如一对极聪明的父母平均智商

发帖数: 4279 | 6 你说的这个Raver Progressive Matrices我做过，我觉得不准。对于visual learner来
说，这个比较容易。比如我就是visual learner，而且我对图形以及里面的逻辑很敏感
的，我的分数很高，但是我觉得这个一点都不能够测出我真正的智商。
这个测试说是5岁以上都可以，我觉得对5岁小孩来说难了，即使是天才儿童。对成年人
来说容易了。应该是10岁左右的小孩测比较合适。

发帖数: 2610 | 7 这边考天才班用的题目，比如说Cogat,NNAT类的，都是考逻辑推理的图形题目，相当于
raver progressive matrics的简化版，所以对我女儿这种数理逻辑好的孩子很占优势
。当然这边选拔gifted kids还是很全面的，擅长艺术文体的有老师专门推荐的，然后
英语阅读特别强的老师也会极力推荐。记得上次版上有个妈妈上来说她女儿没有考过考
试，但是英语阅读太强了，老师极力推荐，也进了gt班。不过她女儿貌似数学不好，所
以进去了学得比较痛苦。但是英语方面却是如鱼得水。
我现在苦恼的却是跟她相反的问题，我不担心我娃以后在GT班的数学，但是却有点担心
她的英语阅读，害怕跟不上。目前她靠着好的记忆力，加上中等水平尚可的理解能力，
report上的英语阅读水平还能above average level,但是以后就说不准了，我知道她绝
对不是学文的料，也没有兴趣爱好在这方面。 |

但是也被网友误解娃社交不好，其实老师和同学都很喜欢娃的，只是我的担心而已，希
望娃在社会上面的受欢迎程度更高。
有个版本的raver progressive matrics60题我全部做对。难道我做的是简化版的? 我
不认为我是高智商，因为读博士我头非常头痛，坚决不读 ：）

原来你还干这事？我是觉得电视台决定的事情再投票也没戏，至今好像被cancel以后应
观众要求又拍下去的只有Jerico和Family Guy. Jerico还是回来没多久就又被砍了。我
还投过moonlight的票呢，其实moonlight收视率挺好的，平均都有8mil以上，结果CBS
非要把它砍了换成那个很无聊的ex list，才放两集就因为没人看撤掉了。这个jungle
我是没看过，看预告总是觉得簸箕小思太粗线条，跟谁配都显得别扭，比Kim Raver和
Lindsay Price彪悍得太多了。 |
