发帖数: 518 | 1 久仰tuckerman大名，看到坛上不少人去过很是羡慕，可惜俺们没有冬天爬山的装备和
经验。好在今年特别，NH下了往年两倍的雪，估计一直到六月份去那滑雪都没问题。另
外这是一个有人气的地方，不用担心走丢，雪崩之类，适合初学者。上个周末阳光明媚
，春风习习，俺们背着snowboard, ski上山了。
准确地说LG背了board & ski, 俺只背了 boots.一路上背两份的独此一家，不少人询问
或打趣。因为天气好，huts多，俺们倒也没有装太多东西。下山时秤的LG负重38 lbs.
俺们沿着tuckerman trail上山，俺速度慢用的时间跟网上写的差不多。tuckerman
ravine只有最左边的left gully还让滑，中间已经雪崩好几次了。在lunch rocks换了
boots。本来以为snowboard boots走路方便，后来发现爬雪山不容易踢出坑来，还是
ski boots好。好在tuckerman滑的人多，跟着前面人踩出来的坑走就好了。

从山顶下来最初一段最陡。从来没滑过，雪看起来左一块右一块黑不溜秋的，不知道滑
起来啥感觉还是很紧张的。 |

总结出几个定理:
1.我们家以后不能办13人以上的party.阿飞他们来的那
晚,我们一帮人挤在一起吃海鲜火锅.椅子不够用,就把沙发
靠背来当椅子,只见4大金刚,阿飞,yuhj,ravine,mattini把
一个沙发站的满满当当的,真是象一堵人墙哦.家里的火锅是
够8个人吃的,这次13个人,每次苹果哥哥一掀起锅盖,只见
锅里就伸进了无数筷子.可惜樱桃从小没有练好筷子功,只有
等别人给夹啦.
2,阿飞真的还是能吃(用还是，只因为樱桃自从认识阿飞的时候就
知道他能吃，想不到到了美国还是没有变哦)
樱桃之流早就准备退席了.那边只见阿飞和yuhj还在动筷子.
最后不得不给他们热了几个豆沙包.真羡慕阿飞这么能吃,还
那么瘦哦.
3.周末不去打报龄.人多的要命.音乐也吵翻了天.哪里象报龄
馆吗,简直就是D厅哦.不过还是有几个人打的不错的.阿飞说

1. 我们那周Bill做客，天气狂差，AMC Tuckerman Ravine information center的停车
位都难求。这个劳动节看预报天气很好，必定人山人海。早去。避免找不到车位的尴尬
，躲开人流加快速度，如预报有雷雨也能争取下午1点前下树线（雷雨一般在下午）。
2. 上次忘了说，山顶风大。帽子，手套还是有必要的。
3. 山上trial岔路口多。要是不打算买AMC的地图，至少要准备一份简易的。 遇到恶劣
天气时，视线很差，也找不到人问路，一份地图带来的也许就不仅仅是份little peace
of mind了.
4.真要是遇到极端状况，近处有两个shelter。 Hermitage Lake Shelter在tuckerman
Ravine上，距山顶1.5mile左右。 Lakes of the Clouds Hut也有个shelter。从山顶走
Crawford Path(1.4mile), 或从Tuckerman Ravine走Crossover （1mile），那里人多
，也能弄到热的吃的。

目前初步做了一些功课：
常见的trail貌似有这样几条：Tuckerman Ravine route, Lion Head, Ammonoosuc
Ravine, Jewell Trail route。去过的人给说说哪条路线景色比较好？
随身物品有没有什么特别需要的？目前看到的一些report都说带上防风放雨保暖的衣服
就好，夏天不用雪爪这些。还有哪些东西需要带呢？
此外谁知道附近还有啥好玩的好吃的？：）Labor Day三天但去爬趟山好像时间有些富
余。两天的周末又不够。从纽约开过去就要7个小时。
总之哪位比较有经验分享一下吧~~ 多谢了！ |

trips。我原来也幻想到那些exotic
destination，能力所不及，不如探索一下自家附近的一亩三分地，用心的话也会带来

前两天写了King Tut展览，算是第一集吧。昨天有去走了一下湾区有名的Steep Ravine
to Stinson beach loop。从地图
上看，这个hike可以分成两部分。逆时针的话先走Matt Davis trail 4哩左右，1500
feet的下坡到Stinson beach，回来是

transfer to another state this December. So I would like to sublease my

1、2室一厅一卫，厅很大。
2、每个屋子都有窗户，厕所是独立的，有自己的门廊，可以放自行车什么的。
3、木质地板非常干净。
4、租金面谈（整个一层），按月缴纳，合同一年一签。
5、电费，气费单独缴纳。
周边环境：
附近有两个大型超市，走路只需不到5分钟就可以到达，Stop&Shop和Supremo，里面东
西齐全且价格低廉。旁边有个大操场和各种篮球场，非常适合喜欢运动的同学。从这里
去Newport也很方便，走路骑车开车均可，那里有卖电子产品的BestBuy，还有target，
staple，BJ等等。往西北走还可以到中国超市555，从这里走过去的话距离和去Stevens
基本一致，而且非常好走，就是一条大直道一通到底。

刚才ravine妹妹和jing妹妹捣乱。大哥我接着说。
T恤是我推荐可以多带的--如果你非要带满那两大箱子。买纯棉
质地的。长短T恤在春秋都可以穿。暖和时单穿，凉爽时配外套，
很自在。无领的T恤很随意。有领的T恤可在一些介于正式和随便
之间的business casual场合穿，配一条休闲裤，一双休闲皮鞋，
甚至不用系领带，一点也不掉份。即使初次去美国人家中做客，
想穿得正式些，这样也可以了。除非他们在邀请时特别提出，一
般倒是不在乎你怎么穿的。
纯棉衬衫也很好，比T恤稍微正式一些，熨一下就可以配领带用于
business casual场合。DD们最好是别带国内曾很流行的涤棉衬
衫。那种衬衫一般洗过后就表面起毛，很不利索的样子。而且那
质地配上板板的颜色(多数是白色吧)，不太合此地习惯。我见那

1)四人完成高难度的mt Washington through Huntington Ravine, 号称NE最难的一条
TRAIL
2)8人完成Mt Jackson
3)2人完成Mt Monroe

7AM, then back to Boston around 10PM.
For Mt. Washington, we go up via Jewell trail from the railway station, go
down via Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail. This hike is relatively easy.
Yes you are right. All the plan depend on weather. |
