parts costs: $260 Wagner parts($60 for each set of pads or rotors, 4*$60 +
tax) from advance auto parts. search for $40 off $100 coupon for times.
otherwise it will cost $400.
labor: $100. find a cheap and decent private auto shop.
all brandnew now.

发帖数: 159 | 3 Update: My Windstar has been recalled by Ford in Jan/Feb. Just 25K miles,
still got the rear-axle fractured.
Now I am driving the free rental car. Mostly likely the Windstar will not be
fixed (since they don't have part even now).
I am preparing to negotiate. Since my car has low millage, I will ask for
lost opportunity cost (cost to lease a similar van for 3 yrs). The market
value of the car is too low, I can't go with that. |

1. you must use jack stands when raise up the car.
2. in most of cases, you can't put the e/brake on when replace rear break
pads. you can't even remove the pads if you do so. |

Hammer spring的影响最大，15lb 以下要换firing pin和firing pin spring, 你可以
就手把firing pin block spring 也换了，原来的firing pin retaining pin很难搞（
大小两个套在一起），最好买个FP-SP。
如果想换hammer kit, 最好把 INST-DC买了，用slave pin把decocker pin顶出去， 同
时用手扶着sear里弹簧。 (slave pin也可以用7/64或#35钻头，切成0.68"长）
Wolff spring的extra power recoil spring pack (13131)也应该买着。 |

如果你chi running，但是有calf at pt这些问题，那最好“慢慢的”变成rear

上说是利用后悬上的弹性部件被动调整后轮的toe angle，调整的角度只有1-2度，前轮
和后轮转的方向相反，就像这样。这样能够在转向中将车尾slide out出来一点，避免
understeer。
