Functional Group Preparations, by Richard C Larock, which covers most of the
synthetic methods you may or may not need; (2) http://www.organic-chemistry.org/, which gives typical reactions you can use; (3) organic synthesis, in which you can do structure search, but very limited.
However, none of these can substitute reaxys or sci finder, so the best
solution is still to have either of these two, which should be available in
