We develop a SW, after install and reboot.
The 1st time it runs the app, there's a "just-in-time" error.
So hook it to the VS 2005, from the stack i can see our app calls "new",
it calls malloc/heap etc.
Now if i reboot the pc, retry all these, everything is ok now.

No one forces you to reboot but it's not a down side to get patch frequently
. Given a large scale deployment that always come fault tolerance zone
design, it becomes less intrusive to reboot the machine in nowadays.

Couple of weeks ago, somehow my mouse didn't move smoothly, oftentimes it
paused now and then, and make the system beep a dooo sound like a naughty boy.
Later, it got worse that it automatically scroll webpages to the top, and
became hazardous in stopping response at all so that I had to reboot the
computer. Now, it simply disappeared after a reboot!
Is it a virus or damaged mouse? Not sure when/how it happened, possibly after

event log shows: this computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. the bugcheck
was: 0x0000050(0xc618c61c,0x000000.....blah blah..). the full dump was not
saved.

2. Reboot your windows box into Safe Mode.
3. Delte the infected file(s).
4. Reboot
Before you do this, can you send a zipped copy of the file to
s******[email protected]? You might need to turn off your Norton to do this. |

了好多中文网页, 也不知是那个就给我种上了VIRUS.
表现是把我的IE HOMEPAGE 变成一个叫啥”IE工具箱”的WEBSITE,
老有POP UP出来, 让我去DOWN手机铃声啥的,出门一会儿, 回家就有10多个POPUP等着我
!! Anti-virus software 就蹦出来说有virus, 要REBOOT. 还有把一个”免费算命的
”WEBSITE 偷偷加到FAVORITE LINKS里面. 另外, 一开机就有POPUP 出来, 让我去啥地
方看美女, FT, 我对看SG都没啥兴趣, 别说PPMM了.
想着可能是比较简单的VIRUS, 就把坏FAVORITE LINKS删了, 到INTERNET OPTION里把
HOMEPAGE改了. 同时删了COOKIES和OFFLINE FILES.
结果, 一会儿, 他胡汉3又回来了, 我赶紧的RUN了SPYBOT, AD-WARE, 同时加了POPUP
STOPPER.
REBOOT后, 发现问题都还在, 考虑到INDEX.DAT F |

I am running into a problem on Windows 7 with an incomplete/corrupted
install when I try to install the Symantec ENDPOINT Eenterprise.
系统提示：
"Symantec Endpoint Protection has detected that there are pending system
changes that require a reboot. Please reboot the system and rerun the

This is one of Trojan virus.
I had deleted C:\windows\system32\vehotora.all;
reboot in safe mode;
run regedit to delete all vehotora.all related entries;
But reboot in normal mode, this entry shows up again.
How to completely delete this entry? Thanks very much!! |

platform: SUN Enterprise 420
OS: solaris 2.7 server
reboot之后, 我用netstat看socket的状况, 这时候
是htserver.4100....(htserver是这台机器的hostname. 4100
是一个server的端口). 这时候ping htserver
it will say:htserver is alive
但是, 大约55分钟后, 我用netstat看, 就变成了
cl188-33.invision.com.4100, 这是什么问题呢? DNS?
这时候ping htserver, it will say: htserver.xxx.com is alive
我今天一天就一直在试这台机器, 每次都是55分钟就会这样?
是我的solaris没配好? invision.com是公司的isp.
这个问题直接导致了我的一个database server 不能funtion,
因为它需要机器的hostname进行联接.

发帖数: 165 | 19 Run sys-unconfig and answer yes to reconfigure your
networking.
If you are running Solaris 2.6, type 'uname -v' to see the
current kernel version, make sure the last 2 digits over 09.
Otherwise, you will not be able to boot up after
sys-unconfig. You need to download the latest kernel patch
for upgrading kernel (which you should do anyway).
After rebooting, when it asks your to join the network,
answer yes. For network services, answer 'none. Then just
following the instruction.

一台PC和一台Solaris接在router上. 用DHCP. PC work正常.
Solaris 可以得到IP address, 从PC可以telnet到Solaris上.
但是Solaris不能resolve domain name. 比如ping bbs.mit.edu 不行, 但是
直接ping ip 可以. solaris自己的hostname是unknown.
怎么办? 我试着在/etc/resolv.conf 里嫁了两个DNS server的IP, 然后reboot
但是没有用. 试着在/etc/hosts里嫁了一个hostname, 但是机器reboot后又被
改回unknown.
是solaris8
