network啦。
我个人经验有效的network,就是和你水平相差上下10%的人群。你要一下走一个大台阶
，你要有特殊对方需要的价值。否则就是打个招呼走人。第二天你是谁人家都不记得。
这种会议，倒是让你泡mm的好去处。你上班，mm毕业要找工作。她们对你的敬仰犹如滔

组织得很好，也比较紧凑，唯一不好就是午餐太crappy，不过$120的会费也就不埋怨什

首先开场的是中国证监会的祁斌，演讲既诙谐也很抓住听众的心。他总结中国的情况是
“问题很多，干劲很大”，欧洲的情况是“问题很多，没有干劲”，下面观众大笑。祁
斌的演讲主要是英文，但是讲笑话的时候换成中文，估计让台下老美颇为郁闷。祁斌特
别地指出了中国各行业的垄断水平（前几名企业的市场份额）远低于国际水平，所以他
预言将来会有很多并购。
第二个的是黑石的Byron Wien，索罗斯的老哥们，我觉得老头子是属于old school，不
相信乱印钞票，对美帝政治乱象极其不满。Byron推荐了一个asset allocation，就记
得对冲基金20%，私募基金10%，黄金5%，印象深刻的是美国国债0%。感觉他和格罗斯都

的位于palo alto的房子里搞。如果他的房子在saratoga或者msj，我估计这个
reception搞不起来。
前些时候看house of cards，里面有个女的stanford毕业后来在google工作。再后来到
Washington DC去，结果被男主角的老婆说成从palo alto来，可见palo alto就算在pop
culture里也是有一定意义的。 |

已经是经典之作，在 YouTube 上有数百万的点击量。其实在同一集里头，婚礼之后的
reception 上还有一场歌舞演出，用的也是 Bruno Mars 的歌 "Just the Way You Are
"，虽然没有那么出名，但我觉得也很精彩。
在剧情里，这场歌舞是在婚礼之后的 reception 上，新郎新娘的两个儿子，Finn 与

Nicks目前在Depth Chart上排第三。Reggie是possession receiver，而且是Luck的贴
心小棉袄，所以应该是reception多，yard不一定高，TD不一定多。TY是即可作
possession receiver也可作deep threat，三人之中应该reception不一定高，但是
yard会不错，TD可能上双。Nicks可能和Luck的timing差一些，可能会先做deep threat
，第一场的数据估计一般。除非野马严防Reggie和TY。

出我觉得门口的雇员的要求很无礼，不尊重人，我说的语气比较缓和，让他去跟那个女
的谈谈，谈完给我个答复。他听了说，i agree, she was not nice.就去做别的。因为
我看他也确实有别的事，就继续搬我的东西。等我搬完了，我问他跟她谈了没，他随随
便便的回答了句, i didn't get the chance to do it. 就在他电脑前捣鼓。好吧，我
心里更不快了，就站在reception desk 那，等他了五分钟左右，看他还没理我的意思
，就转身出去停车场看我的朋友装东西（我们坐一辆车来的）。等我们的东西都装好了
，我又回去拍卖行，正好经理出来了。但他没有跟我说话，而是直接往外走，不想理我
的样子。我叫住他，第三次提出我的问题。他看我坚持再三他逃避不了，这才和我一起
去找到那个雇员。
他先问她, 你是不是要求check这个人的lot tags? 她说是。然后他显得不快的问她，
我们有这样的policy吗，需要这样检查的吗？他的语气里还是有点质问她的意思，我就
没有插嘴 |

一直都喜欢有蓬蓬裙的婚纱。这套婚纱是淘宝上挑了半天的才选出的，质量很好。只可
惜我个子太小，而婚纱＋裙撑大概5 lb左右（据说这是蓬蓬裙婚纱的平均重），试穿以
后妈妈又担心我reception的时候跳舞不方便，就又重新在david's bridal重新买了件
小婚纱给我。。。55
我身高1米55，体重105lb，加上高跟鞋10cm，这套婚纱还会长出一点点。下面是婚纱的
淘宝网图，除了我的这条是纯白色的。主要是妈妈带来的时候婚纱在箱子里压皱了，我
试穿的时候前面皱巴巴的，所以就没照前面。你收到以后熨一下就可以和图上一样效果
啦。
婚纱后面，我让店主给我加长了拖尾（大概80CM）。因为这个，我特意照了实物图，请
忽略婚纱上皱巴巴的花边，那些熨熨就好啦。
当初妈妈还帮我在裁缝店做好了一系列的下摆扣（就是reception的时候可以把下摆收
起，方便跳舞和走路），扣子位置的说明寄出的时候会一并附上。
当时婚纱是花了1100多买的，现在$150+运费出，副赠头纱一条（图片跟在婚纱后）。

其实怀嘟嘟时这在里分享过一篇详细介绍我在美国半DIY婚礼的文章，后来

这几天大家介绍的在美国买婚纱，我是专门回国去买的，所以就给大家介
绍一下国内买婚纱的情况。希望对暑假回国买婚纱的jms有些帮助。
Wedding Dress
07年12底的婚礼，8月正式开始看婚纱试婚纱。美国这边的婚纱连锁店和
local的婚纱店都去了，可是看上的买不起，买得起的又看不上！于是在国
内得篱笆网上做足了功课后决定回国掏纱！10月初休假2周回国。LG家在
苏州自然去苏州婚纱一条街了。逛了2天后终于在一家比较大得婚纱店（
丹妮斯）量身定做了一套婚纱，一套短婚纱，3套伴娘礼服，2件小花童的
小礼服，总共￥2500，才不到400美金。我很满意，主要是店里在没有我
想要的样子的情况下按照我的设计做出了我满意的婚纱，而且还再婚纱的

1) you should wear a dress ( not white color,floral/blue/black/purple is ok,
would not suggest Qi Pao). If you are not sure if baobao is welcome, you
better ask your co-worker. Baobao should dress up too!
2) You may order a gift from Macys online and send it to their address (if
provided). normally, for co-workers, $100-$200 is fine. Or a macys gift card
will be perfect. If you are not attending, $75-100 is enough.

我压根就没收到过delivery attempt notice。我家也谈不上location closed。
然后我给他们Email我电话和中文地址，让他们跟我联系以确认地址。没人跟我联系。
然后今天网上说已经送到reception，某小姐签收。我住处没有reception，除了物业管
理。
