无所获，到现在四处托人打听帮忙递简历，参加座谈会、经验分享，觉得稍微看清了一
些门道，但还是时常似是而非。没办法，形势比人强。
谁说的，it’s just a job.感觉也对也不对，个中滋味，因人而异吧。
就把信转给了我。我一联系，对方找我要了简历之后马上就回复说安排电面。电面的是
公司的小头(director)，电面过程还不错，30分钟，也就是问了问大方面，因为刚有个
recruiter介绍的tech supp
话没有什么manner， 当然我觉得既然有可能今后一起工作，那些表皮上的伪装也没什
么用。反正东问西问不是很友好，感觉审犯人一样。结尾的时候我追问她是否觉得我是
一个good match，这是recru
一趟，给时间就是本周和下一周，我把本周还有实验，就说最好下周，不过本周四、五
也行，三姐就说定在周四，感觉上比我还急。我周四一早开车去公司，倒霉的是快到公
司的时候堵车，急死人。本

时间给他。然后就没消息了，confirmation email都没给我。我email善意提醒他记得
给我发confirmation email, 也一直没回我呢。。。。郁闷，不会被cancel了吧？
第一个Recruiter 联系后，两轮电面都安排得井井有条，面完第二天就给消息。然后说
要on site了，要hand off给一个不同的Recruiter. 这第二个Recru........ |

让我等等，他们正在安排。感觉还不错。我自己的经验是f最快，第二天中午就给了
confirmation emai。

友在帝都一个大型科技公司当recruiter，近期计划来湾区跟码农男友结婚顺便申请绿
卡。由于没有身份所以找工作是个很tricky的事，经过research发现有的公司可以先
sponsor J-1然后再申请H1B，这位朋友说只要有J-1过渡一下就可以，考虑到结婚后可

Fire arms are much more seriously controled in CA than in US.
and among ppl, more civilians are not strong gun-own supporters, comparing
to Americians. When I had job interview w/ my dept chair and main recrue
committee members, talked about this issue, seems 60% are not favored in own
guns, half of other 40% not care, half like to have who actually came from
US too!!!

只要 recruiting 到牛人了，多少颗星了，那就搞定了．
我不说这个说法不对，也先不说这个看＂牛人＂的眼光，标准各有不同，
只想让大家想想：
现在 Miami 输了多少场比赛，输给了 GT, Louisville, 等，
FSU 输了多少场比赛，输给了 NCST, Maryland 等等，
USC 今年打了好几场 close 的比赛，今天输给了 Oregon State,
要说 recruiting, Miami,FSU,还有 USC,这最近四年，（也就是说他们现在的全部运动
员）
他们的 recruiting 都排在全国前五名左右，
而我提到的别的那些学校，可以说 recruiting 都是些不入流，
那为什么最后成绩会这样呢？
原因很多，但我只想说明一点：
