标 题: 救命啊，mac上装redhat 出问题了，各位老大帮看看。

没用过linux,需在一macbook pro上装redhat, 学校IT的人说在leopard下就可以直接装
。顺利升级到 os x 10。51，分了60G给redhat。安装redhat都还顺利，完成后让重启
，可是重启后就只显示 GRUB Loading stage 2, 再也没有动静，硬关机后重启，按
option键进入系统选择，可是只有一个redhat可选，原来的os x 不见了。选择进入
redhat还是同样的 GRUB Loading stage 2 for ever. 大家帮我看看怎么恢复os x 和
继续安装redhat. |

发帖数: 50 | 5 多年前用过redhat 6.0。当时linux很火，我趁着在学校有空，就跟风熟悉了一下。
也就玩过点基本的。系统配置，command line, 简单的shell/perl script,
编译kernel, 网络设置什么的。再深入的就不懂了。
工作后基本没什么使用linux环境的机会，所以就慢慢扔了。
没想到跳槽后，公司马上要搞的一个project要用redhat，
而且很多更网络相关的配置。没办法，只能马上再捡起来。
在公司可以用公司机器，但是在家里就没办法了。
有几个问题请教下:
redhat怎么没有免费版本下载了？找来找去就一个enterprise版，还要买？
另外现在安装rh, 机器配置有什么要求吗？
我家里现在3台机器。
一台超老的奔3 600mhz desktop，512M ram, 双硬盘HD共500g，系统win2000 adv
server.
(纪念意义，当年LD送给我的生日礼物，打死也不敢扔啊。)
另外一台我平时用的双核hp 台式 2.4ghz，windows 7 32bit, HD 500g + 1TB

install gvim by default, maybe the guys in redhat prefer emacs.
This brings trouble to us gvim users, I didn't have gvim in university,
and I don't have gvim in company now. Although I can install myself, but
still, curse redhat.

一个机器老是内存溢出。出问题的机器操作系统是
redhat enterprise。我猜是JVM设置的问题。可是

You can try CentOS. It uses all redhat packages. but you do not need to pay
and you get all the updates. |

CentOS 的价值在于，提供一个开源并且可以直接预装的
RHEL clone. RHEL 是很多企业的选择，因为他们想要超级
稳定性，然后想要技术支持，例如，有了 zero day 的bug
要赶紧补上。成熟的企业除非有特别强的Linux 背景，不是
很感用随便的 distro。
RHEL 一直都在玩一个游戏就是，开源对吧。RHEL 提供
src rpm。 但是 RHEL 不提供可以直接预装的 binary,
只对商业用户提供。
这个并没有违反开源的游戏规则。而且那个 RHEL 里面含有
一些程序让别人不能直接复制那个 RHEL 的安装盘放到其他
地区下载。同样，升级也需要是付费用户（有免费试用）。
CentOS 就是提供这样的服务，把 RHEL 的 src rpm，从新
编译最后组装出 RHEL 兼容的但是大家可以随便使用的预装
光盘。大家觉得不就是编译一下 src rpm 莫，简单阿。
其实不是那末简单。Redhat 的 src rpm 要编译出和 RHEL
一样效果的 binary 需要用到 Redhat 的不开放的编译环境，

老，或者是swap 空间不够，检查swap空间足够，GCC版本学校控制。程序是一个1000行
左右的数学运算。
另外一个可能相关的问题是，如果更改程序里的打印语句，程序输出文件显示程序运行
到不同的地方。
比如：
把
printf("test 2\n");
comment 掉，之前输出文件可能显示
。。。。。
test 4
但是更改之后，输出文件显示程序中止在不同地方，甚至有时候是一个打印语句的中间。
比如：
printf("check again\n");
输出文件最后一行显示
check
again is missing...
哪位大拿对这个error 139 有研究，指点一下，不胜感谢， |

版本是2.6.32-71.el6.x86_64
发现读取文件后，free mem大幅下降。文件很大，10几G的样子
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 32091 24459 7632 0 7 23250
-/+ buffers/cache: 1200 30891
Swap: 34271 21 34250
就是这里free/Mem那一格
网上查了说看是否内存泄漏应该看swap？
我有一个程序，读取文件。
如果我手动清理掉used Mem
