Massachusetts GOP Senate candidate Scott Brown could block healthcare reform
if elected.

blasted the Republican candidate to permanently fill Kennedy's seat over
Brown's stance against the health bill before Congress.

If the objective of the healthcare reform is truly to help the real poor, one
can argue that an effective way to do it is to expand the medicaid coverage
while reduce fraud in medicare and medicaid, and reduce cost in the health
care industry by introducing more competition and put more control in the
consumer's hands.
The current reform plan does not reduce cost, it just blindly put on more
debt and screw the hard working tax payers over. Someone has to pay the
bill, crippling the economy does

New Rule: You can't complain about health care reform if you're not willing
to reform your own health. Unlike most liberals, I'm glad all those
teabaggers marched on Washington last week. Because judging from the photos,
it's the first exercise they've gotten in years. Not counting, of course,
all the Rascal scooters there, most of which aren't even for the disabled.

Indeed, there are many Ph.D. programs that can be closed. The first one on
my list to close would be the Religion program in Columbia university. Why
do we need Ph.D.'s specializing in religion? Leave that area to the rabis
and ministers!

就连GOP leadership其实都搞不清楚自己的caucus能拿出什么移民法案能过。很多事情
就不了了之了。有的东西没法不了了之,比如这次的DHS预算,于是就成新闻了。合法
移民的问题的政治重量还是太小。

到这里来请教一下大家把,fitness不是很合适。
我是男生,189cm,3年前来的时候150lbs,后来不注意锻炼,吃得也不控制,一下就长
到210lbs了,去年10月份到local的一个sport club开始锻炼,有一段时间请了一个
trainer做具体的针对指导,现在上肢和背部的肌肉发展比较好,变得瘦长些了,tone
也不错,继续巩固就好,其他地方也正常,但是就是肚子下不去,做过慢跑/cycling也
不太管用,饮食也控制了。
做了一定数量的针对性训练,还是不太见成效,前几天碰见trainer聊了聊,他看了看
我的腹部联系,说我的腹肌已经相当强壮了,但是说不上为什么下不去肚子,我问他
pilate reformer管不管用(就是用器械的pilate,4个人上课,8个星期收238块),他
说帮我问问那个instructor,后来给我回话,说那个instructor说应该对我的腹肌有很
大好处,可以拉长一些,但是因人而异。
我的柔韧性很差,立位体前屈只有5-7cm,上下肢比例正常,腿稍长。
大牛们给说说是不是上这个reformer可以把我的肚子减减呢?LD倒是说预算批准了。

without tort reform, this kind of lawsuits will just keep happening, so
those lawyers could make a lot of money, like John Edwards, who basically
single-handedly trippled the premium for certain insurance. Of course Obama
won't touch that, because that's where he gets his support from.

It is very true that you can't put a price tag on life
however, to serve or even save a life, there is a price, otherwise how are
you going to pay for the doctors and nurses, the medications, the equipment,
insurance ...? you can get all passionate about it, but in the end you can'
t pull money out of thin air

the solution, and there have been solutions proposed by other people, but O-

on insurance, while doctors, lawyers and pharmas are still practically
unaffected. while the insurance company is just an intermediary between
