别人在做什么。不同视角相互参照和争论才能促进知识的生产。比如north korea的问
题，作为社会学家，我可能会研究mobilization of emotion，在目前情况下政府和媒
体如何把所谓innocent people和evil regime分开来，把对于人民的sympathy和对于
regime的hatred如何mobilization，研究这种political grammar。还有不同的群体的
emotional investment的不同，对于sympathy和politics的区分。比如humanitarian组
织会强调一种universal sympathy free from politics等等。这些都是有社会学意义

，说是表彰刘晓波老剑客的工作对迫使民币升值做出的贡献。但是马南英语太次，直接
编编不出来，于是倒着来，自己用中文先编好，然后用软件翻译成英文，然后可能润色
一下，当然仍然是狗屁不通的英语。弄完之后把英文版本放在前面，注明汉语“译文”
附在文尾。
没想到马南次日起床发现文章被删了，哀号，“写了一晚上”，“连尸骨都没留下”。
