transcripts sent directly from the Registrar to LSAC. Would they recognize
the sealed and signed (by college Registrar) transcripts sent from applicants?
I graduated from college six years ago and t is quite impossible to contact

时间都不是系里排的，而是registrar排的。原因也很简单－－很多学生，尤其是本科
生，有各种各样的course requirement，而且是不同系的。registrar会尽量把这些同
一major 要修的修安排在不同时间。lz的系就算能自己安排课时，一旦某个课的时间定
下来，可以想象很难改动，比如上这个课的学生也很可能要上A课，而上A课的一部分学
生要上B课，可谓牵一发而动全身。去年这个课在另外一个时段并不说明今年也行（比
如今年系里加了两门课）。所以系主任不愿改动是很合理。当然系主任可以解释一下，
不过楼主一上来就说不能教九点的课，要是口气还不好的话，系主任不想解释也可以想
象。
楼主，你去找同事换课来教可能更容易，或者要是学生少的话，自己跟学生商量换时间
。我个人也不建议去找Dean。前面几位ID给的建议都很好，比如找系主任当面谈谈。 |

有国内硕士学位，目前phd在读，7月底答辩提交论文，8月开始工作，10月才能拿到毕
业证书；已经申请OPT，但不知道什么时间申请h1b，主要是不清楚对以后申请eb1和eb2
有没有影响。
目前有三个选择：
1.现在用国内硕士立即申请regular h1b，估计来得及；
2.7月底提交论文后，学校registrar可以开封证明信（证明已完成所有学位要求），然
后用这封信申请advanced h1b，但根据现在的h1b使用情况，估计7月底早就没名额了。
3.10月拿到毕业证后再申请，那得等到明年了。
如果打算申eb1b或eb2 niw，第一个选择（用国内硕士申regular h1b）就可以了？也就
是说这两种不要求在入职前拿到学位。
如果申正常的eb2，好像是有要求在入职前（8月）要拿到学位？怎么算作拿到学位呢，
是毕业证的颁发日期（10月）还是registrar开证明信的时间（7月）？因为不管h1b是
何种类型，我8月入职肯定是用opt，那时候不知道算不算入职前拿到学位。国内硕士应

到我们的补充材料（按照我猜的list补充的，见2）部分），8月5日我们又按照收到的

我们是财产证明认为不够、没交什么亲子关系证明啊，父母的资助statement啊，此外
i20上要3万多，即使你提交的bankstatement是7万多，也有可能那帮人不会算，硬是以
为你只提供3万多，他们按照3/9*12=4w+认为你钱数不够，你的学校financial
affidavit上可能也某个地方写了你提供3w+，他们就这么nc的！

我让我的系主任和院长都写了信，说明我的课已经上完，论文已经提交。我这学期除了
论文之外有两个seminar的课，在3月26号就上完了。但是最后的grade必须等到这学期
结束才能提交到系统。
现在接到移民局的通知，要求registrar提供我已经修完所有课的证明，或者提供final
transcript。deadline 是5月22号。问了registrar，他们说5月21号他们才开始处理
全校提交的成绩，也就是说不能保证5月22号之前拿到final transcript。我问是否能
提供已经修完所有课的证明，他们说必须得在final transcript出来才能提供，现在不
能提供任何东西...
想问问有经验的同学，可不可以让移民局延长那个deadline呢？其实只要延长一个星期
就都没有问题了。。。急啊。。。不会因为这个今年就拿不到h1b了吧。。。郁闷至极 |

Statistics，但是正文中“Issued By"写的是小孩出生的city的名字，不是新泽西州，
这种情况下是否还是可以直接去办理州务卿认证？

发帖数: 35 | 47 考驾照先在BMV的Deputy Registrar License Agencies买一个temporary package，25$
。我第一次去E55th街考的，据说那里黑人很多，不安全，不过刚来的时候也不大清楚
，这个地方对于没车的人方便，坐RTA的小火车Red line，blue line 以及green line
都可以到，好像也有公交车不太清楚。BMV的隔壁是Highway Patrol Driver Exam
Stations，考交通法规等，不太难，看过他们的Ohio Digest of Motor Vehicle Laws
大概就了解了。然后回到隔壁的Deputy Registrar License Agencies可以办一个
temporary learner permit，也可以当ID用的。这个交了钱买了package就可以去考试
，之前要测一下视力，如果没过的话要等24小时候才能再考。需要带着：护照，签证，
I-94，I-20或者DS-2019或I-797（797还需要Employment Letter，证明你现在还在工作
中，这个信2个月过期，在这2个月中搞定te |
