公司答应工作后马上申请绿卡。上周刚签完OFFER，这周给我发了一份信叫做“
AGREEMENT FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF IMMIGRATION EXPENSES",大意是如果以后离职可能
要还公司申请绿卡的钱。
好象是如果要避免还钱，绿卡下来两年之后都必须为公司工作。 这种要求常见/合理吗？
而且下面第二段里，离职还不光是主动辞职：“due to voluntary resignation or
discharge for cause (other than poor performance).”

在University做full time researcher, 有绿卡. 业余时间在一处clinics做volunteer
,没有收入但是那个clinics给了~$900的reimbursement(汽油,服装).现在收到1099,上
面写明了~$900的reimbursement.
我的问题:
1.这样legally没问题吧?
2.reimbursement不用交税吧?

The keyword is work hour 工作时间。
如果你下班是五点钟，但是六点钟送孩子去画画，那就不能reimburse了。
除非画画老师给的receipt不说时间，只说afterschool program. 然后你证明
你孩子的daycare下午三点钟就放学了。那么afterschool program 也可以
reimburse. |

金的穷学生一个，不过就养我自己（+俩猫），呵呵。
1. 小猫第一年那三针都是要打的。挺重要的。后面就会变成一年打一次。那个打不打
看你。我有个朋友的两只猫大了后都没打，好像也没事。不过小时候的要打，否则生病
了真是要命。还有你要是担心猫生病还是不要让它出门。我这里的vet是打一针大概十
几二十元，你可以跟医生商量，就是光打针不做general visit，看看行不行。光打针
的钱我估计你还是有的吧？也可以去shelter问问，有没有低费打针的。
2. 寄生虫这个你可以看看它有没有拉肚子，看看粪便有没有像虫卵一样的东西（像白
色小米粒）。小猫体重上升正不正常，有没有小猫很瘦但是肚子很大之类的。这些都正
常的话没有必要去打虫。 我看过的两个vet都没有说一定要定期打虫的。你领养回来的
时候估计已经打过虫了吧。
3. 小猫的保险，版上很多人是Petplan的bronze系列的。每年最高保8000元，然后根据
deductible和给你多少百分比的reimbursement来算每年保险要付多少钱。我记得最便

。这是universal coverage rule,和use it or lose it 正好相反。这只适应于
medical reimburse, 对于 dependantcare, 公司不应该reimburse 多余payroll
deduction ，所以没有这个问题。 |

not make a lot more than PMDs, then no need to go for specialty unless
really interested. So, what the reimbursement policy should do, if they
really want to decrease the cost and encourage residents to go for PMD
career, is to increase the reimbursement rate to PMD and decrease the rate
to specialties. If reimbursement doesn't change, people will still go for
specialty. |

surgery center settings, at least in procedure related field. Free stand
clinics saw a dramatic reduction in reimbursement in many procedures. This
would force free standing physicians/groups to join hospitals. Once the
consolidation is done, it would be much easier for insurers to negotiate
contracts in the future, to cut down reimbursements further. |

柏克莱市外科医师卡普兰（Dr. Jerold Kaplan）去年到一名脚伤病人家里看诊。由于
是加州医疗补助计画（Medi-Cal）的病人，所以他向Medi-Cal开了90元的诊疗费。他以
为自己的收费已经很便宜，但是Medi-Cal只给他8.96元。
去年，卡普兰还出诊看了一个小儿麻痺症病人，Medi-Cal也只付他13.44元，事后还向
他解释，因为他的收费单寄得太晚，所以将收费减半。也就是说，就算全额也只不过27
元。
加州正全力迎接联邦健保改革法的到来，并且将Medi-Cal扩大，纳入150万无健保人士
，另外还要吸收90万名「健康家庭计画」（Healthy Families ）的儿童，因为原来为
贫穷家庭儿童提供健保的「健康家庭」已经取消。
但是，Medi-Cal付给医师的医疗费太低，让专家担心到2014年新健保法推行时，根本没
有医师愿意为Medi-Cal病人看病。
卡普兰医师说：「Medi-Cal给医师的极低费用，已成为笑话，所以很多医师根本不感兴
趣。」

有钱时，reimbursement较高，现在美国越来越穷，medicare也在不断的cut
reimbursement, 医生没有讨价还价的能力，政府想付就付，不想付就不付，想付多少
就多少，随着穷的蔓延，政府支付标准只会越来越低，private insurance 就会跟进，
除非收cash. 是不是我有点悲观了点？总体感觉美国医生也属于夕阳产业了。 |

这样稍微大点公司(千人以上)岂不是光vp以上就几十个了.
几十年前很多american corporation用给vp以上管理人员提供公司车的方式避税,
但是后来GAAP改的这招不灵了,现在大部分都是按照mileage reimburse,
除非那种天天外头跑得公司才给lease车.
你说的那个lease mb suv的估计是公司给固定车补自己爱租啥租啥吧,
多不退少不补的情况. 这个只能算是公司按mileage reimbursement,不能算
这个车被公司expense掉了.区别就在谁sign的合同,
公司lease的车公司是contract holder,lease expense可以打入销售成本,
公司给reimburse milage只能算overhead.
另外刚看了 一下mb的网站, 400多一个月就算ml350 down也要放5k了 |
