home house wife, when file divorce, she gets half of everything, including
house, car, asset.
In your case, you paid for full payment of the car and house purchased by
both families, you will get half of total asset. I think your husband only
said that because he does not really want to divorce you.

发帖数: 141625 | 14 昨天看到leisure版网友贴杨宪益和hawkes的不同红楼梦译文想起来的，我把这俩的译
文也转过来，感觉杨宪益是直译，hawkes有点paraphrase的意思，英语更地道更
flowery，但诗的节奏韵味好像不足？老外会喜欢看hawkes版，杨宪益的比较plain，少
一点文质辞采。李欧梵看来更喜欢hawkes的译本，不过他没读过杨宪益的，只是对他的
翻译风格有不同意见，觉得他翻的鲁迅不够味，英国味道浓。我读杨宪益翻译的鲁迅，
也觉得和这些诗一样，缺一点感情。不过李欧梵对他俩的
学者作风都很推崇。

我上网搜到杨宪益和Hawkes的《红楼梦》翻译比较，大家看看谁的好。我个人似乎更喜
欢杨的翻译，更忠实原作，而且简洁精练。我有点私心，觉得红楼梦原作已经够完美，
翻译的时候何必还要有所发挥呢。呵呵！

发帖数: 1542 | 15 看完了录像了，深有感触啊。七个哈佛医学生毕业后十几年的轨道截然不同, 一半以上HMS的医生混的很惨，基本都离婚(two medical students couple divorced and both remarried, the JHK eye doctor divorced, Tom divorced three times)，有的还被解雇(Tom)，或者干别的什么了(the black lady)。只有one duke professor混的好。
医生的这个职业risks太太太大了，吃医生这碗饭真不容易啊！而且没有tenure...

续集，七个哈佛医学生毕业后十几年的轨道截然不同，让人感慨万分。每个人能做到的

发帖数: 577 | 19 昨晚偶在教授的提示下也看了，发现以前其实看过一两段。总而言之，偶感觉拍的很好
，片子用叙事体来描绘生活，以人为本，里面的人物看过了忘不掉，比后来拍的Boston
Med好的不止一星半点。Boston Med基本用一个又一个病例来填充时间，忽略了医生做
为一个人的存在，里面的医生换谁都一样，没有几个能留下深刻印象的。
说他们混的很惨，偶倒是不很赞成教授，不是每个人都要是几个大医院的xx director
才算成功，哈佛现在每年160人，哪有那么多director的空缺让这么多人填，再说JH/
Penn/Stanford等等每年毕业的几百号人也不是省油的灯。
相反，这群人的道路倒是很符合现在美国医学院比较提倡的多元化(diversity)，没有
哪个一上学就嚷嚷要学赚钱的ROAD（也许有，后来被剪接掉了，反正就当没有吧），毕
业后也没有一窝蜂地全都跑到哈佛的附院里做住院，住院做完了基本是就地生根该干哈
就干哈，没想着再去做个fellowship什么的。
至于离婚，连哈佛医学院毕业的老公都不要，看来这些老婆也是实实在在以爱为本，没
有嫁给美元和虚名。这样的老婆，谁能最后娶到手，也算是幸运吧。... 阅读全帖 |
