quota.而且他多次讲过，在何种条件下可以不受7%的限制，也就是印度人的情况，通过
拿spill over突破7%。
所以p838说的不要去remind奥傻这个7%我是没看懂。奥傻之前每月只给中国EB2 250个
名额，不就是按照7%算出来的吗？
现在奥傻把他的排期计算方法已经讲得很清楚了，在他的这个框架下，spill over肯定
按照Priority Date分，不论国籍，印度人肯定是拿大多数。这一点我们没法改变奥傻
，只能通过外部力量，议员或他上级。中国EB2能直接跟奥傻争的也就是不满7%这一点
了。
p838请把你的观点讲详细，不要闪烁其词。另外，建议大家不要用英文，这样可以有效防止奥傻或印度人看到我们的讨论内容。 |

两个星期之前去了一次infopass， 结果接待的黑人大妈态度很不好，说什么我们不该
去的，他们什么都不知道，然后在键盘上敲了敲，就说没有任何异常情况，但也没有任
何信息可以给我，就把我打发了。
今天换了个infopass center再次去碰碰运气，碰到一个很nice的latino大妈， 告知昨
天我的case刚被分配给一个IO，我问是不是这就意味着background check完成了，她说
probably，问估计多长时间能有decision，她说不知道。我之前没有做好功课，回来才
发现，还可以问IO是谁，还可以托infopass的人给IO一个reminder。不过考虑到我的
case昨天才分配给IO，今天就给reminder可能也没必要。
不过我这也算运气不好了， 8/7 fingerprint， 10/7 才分配给IO， background
check花了整整两个月啊。
大家分配到IO手中一般都多长时间decision啊？ |

自从04/17/2015 改了地址以后我再也查不到我的case status咯。
因为从三周前开始看到我前后左右的号都绿了。或者是有答复了，所以我又不淡定咯。
这两周我一共打了uscis 4次的电话，
tier 1接了以后，我就如是告诉他 我的case 再我改完地址以后再也查不了了，
所以我想要问问我的case status，balabala，，tier 1 也查不到，然后全部都会帮我
转接tier 2，
然后wo一般选择call back。
等等等。。。。。
05/30/2015 第一个： 男，听起来想美国年轻人的口音，说话超级nice. 因为第一次
call back 的时候我还没有看论坛，所以不知道该怎么问，他主动告诉我， normal
process，last update 04/17 说如果下周在没有任何信息，call back 做out of

4非华人，他们也都答应好了。
结果上周四发出去推荐信，4个人已经回信，1美国教授和1英国教授无论如何也不回信
（我本周二发了个reminder，这周五又发了个reminder），虽然我已经找好中国教授来
代替这俩位，但是这样国家分布变成1美国（非独立推荐人）1台湾1南非1德国2中国了
，变成4华人2非华人了。
这样是不是不太好？是不是最好还是要加一个美国非华人的独立推荐人？我老板倒是推
荐了几个，但那几个都没有引用过我文章。这种没有引用过文章的欧美非华人教授也比
引用过文章的华人教授（即使是身在欧美）或者第三世界国家的教授要好么？
想听听大家的意见。
我是同时准备O-1和EB-1A的。看大家的意见这样的推荐人分布对EB-1A不好，不知道可
不可以凑合用在O-1上。自己的OPT 11月10日就截止了，现在着急要推荐信回来。 |

生从纽约开车回New Haven，在结冰的路段和一辆失控的卡车拖车相撞，三个学生当场
死亡，重伤的六个学生中又有一个次日不治而亡。当时学校取消了一切体育活动，全校
默哀，管本科生的校长说白头人送黑头人尤其伤心，这些都是风华正茂的最优秀的孩子。
上周末，车祸幸存者之一的Brett Smith在学校教堂Battell Chapel做了个演讲，他刚
刚毕业。他车祸后大脑受损，跟不上耶鲁的学业，就先去一个community college读书
，慢慢恢复。08年再回耶鲁，从头读起，今年学成毕业。他家是教徒，他以前不信教，
因为他爸在空军里做，频繁搬家，所以他从没受洗过。他车祸住院时Battell Chapel的
pastor给他洗礼。他重回学校后就去学校教堂，他们让他做学生Deacon——我不知道这

Days ago, I received a letter from the county tax commissioner reminding me
that it's time to renew my auto registration. By the way, the letter also
reminded me that my birthday is coming. Oh well, I don't want to think about
the birthday...
Anyway, back to car registration. Today, I decided to go to the commissioner
