刺穿防护，所以我需要再加喷off的mosquito repellent，效果还行，但是流的汗会很
快冲掉驱蚊剂，蚊子又多又饥渴的话也会不顾一切攻击没被驱蚊剂覆盖到的皮肤。于是
我只好在腰间别一把电蚊拍，时不时挥舞一下，噼啪声四起，蚊子多的时候，每隔半分
钟就得挥舞一阵，导致农活效率非常低。后来升级到往草坪喷洒cutter backyard bug
control spray，感觉世界一下子清净很多（其实也就几天）。所以平时除草就长衣长
裤帽纱加off基本够了，干大农活前可以喷喷杀虫剂设立禁飞区。 |

子里人活动的周围
一种是吸引蚊虫，利用蚊虫驱光性来杀蚊虫，那种zapper就是，噼里啪啦杀一堆，感觉
这种虽然看似有效，但是杀不完，本来自己院子里有几百只蚊虫，结果除了杀掉这几百
只，又吸引其他院子或者野外的几百上千只，反而很闹心
看来是不是还是驱虫的那种zapper更适合院子里烧烤时驱虫？
下面这款需要 replace the cartridge every 30 days,是不是就是只化学的片片？

发帖数: 217 | 6 家在中西部，最近下大雨发现地下室两个没有装修的closet里面有水从水泥地基最上面
滴进来。请来的contractor说是雨水渗进砖墙导致的。正常情况下外面的砖墙在水泥地
基上面都有一层防水塑料膜，并且每隔1-2米左右就有一个小孔让渗进去或者从屋顶漏
进去的水流出来。但是房子正门那里砌了几个台阶，把应该往外面流的水挡住了，于是
渗进砖墙的雨水就往地下室流了（地下室的那两个closet正好在正门的两边）。他建议
用silane/siloxane把外墙处理一下，这样雨水就不会渗进来了。几个问题想请教一下
大家：
1：他说的原因大家同意吗？
2：地下室是装修的，是不是有砖墙的那一面任何地方都有可能有水进来？需不需要打
开dry wall看一下？
3：Contractor要价$1000左右，但是我们家房子只有正面是砖墙（或者贴砖），是不是
太贵了？

but it'll very expensive to dig out the whole basement and re-seal the whole
outside concrete foundation - much more than $1000. for $1000 i guess he
will only dig up a small segment. the question is whether it will fix your
problem if the leaking point is not where he digs out. |

发帖数: 886 | 13 我最近常走森林， 被颜色大小像蜜蜂苍蝇类的blood sucker追着咬， 一般也就起几个
大红包，但上月有一次是很大一片牛眼斑bulleye rash， 和网上的病例照一样。虽然
不是tick咬的， 但这里野鹿成群， 逻辑上没有理由相信LYME D只能通过tick这样一种
blood sucker传播，考虑到LYME D是 low possibility high risk， 所以看了家医
生。 因为时隔只有4天， 抗体没形成， 就没做血清test。开了10天的 amocilin。 吃
了， 没有发烧/关节痛 等症状， 就没再复查。
从此进森林前，一定先喷repellent |

看到有California Baby Bug Repellent Spray,如果需要可能会买。

店超市就能买到的。

时候那个抹过的好多了，不过再检查还有两个更大的。我心疼坏了。我们昨天回家以后
加上今天就出去买了一趟菜，被咬得机会很小。但也不是没有。
我们刚开始上daycare还不到一个月，要不要跟老师提一下。
顺便求好的repellent.

i use this kind of net to go out for baby.
also take some "off" candle or clip on wherever we go.....don't like to put
repellent on body...
but neither of them works for me. mosquitoes keep biting me. baby is fine
with the protection of net. |
