reportage，essay就是essay，混在一起两者就都完蛋了……
环境污染问题，报道主要是采访，引用当事人的话，当局的话，事实数据。写景状物也
要是客观描述，不可文学，记者还是要讲求professionalism的。很多记者课余写小说
写诗歌写剧本，那个要跟reportage区别开……

总觉得开车长途旅行是一件很浪漫的事情，当然路上不免有艰难险阻，但是毕竟是比起
骑毛驴进京赶考的时代还是完全不一样了。特别是在美国呆长了，总觉得长途开车吗，
只要不上错高速公路，带上一个好的GPS，沿途总是有麦当劳和汽车旅馆的。我没有中
国的驾照，没有在中国开过车，更别提驾车长途旅行了，但是，总认为除了路况差点，
别的应该大同小异吧。全错！
上个星期拿到一本何伟的《Country Driving》，看看一个外国人在中国开车走遍全国
的经历，长了不少见识。

首先，这个何伟何许人也？他的英文名字是Peter Hessler，是《New Yorker》杂志驻
北京的常驻记者。最早接触到这个人的作品，还是在好几年前， |

苦闷时也只有盯着天看，晚霞奇诡变化，觉得未来有无限可能。阵雨来得快，乌黑的云
团滚动奔跑，剩了天边一粒金星没来得及遮，一小粒明光闪烁，突然一下就灭了。折身
跑时，雨在后边追，卷着痛痛快快的土腥气扑过来。
这个里面，“觉得未来有无限可能”不是事实
“雨在后边追，卷着痛痛快快的土腥气扑过来”也不是事实描述的写法，而且这段话完
全就是essay的写法，对于reportage是非常有害的……
这个，理论上讲大概是这么回事吧，但是实践起来很难，到底什么是事实呢？还不是我
们耳朵听到的眼睛看到的吗？那听到的看到的真的就做得准吗？我在美国不怎么读新闻
，偶尔听听看看，我不觉得他们的新闻的立场有多中立，只不过是表达的比较巧妙，姿
态摆的比较专业而已，当然我同意你这就是差距。。。 |

过涪陵，但是，从他的写作，我了解了那个时候，那个地区的经济政治大概，学生的日
常生活，和平队的宗旨的做法。在生动有趣的描述中给读者极大的信息量，这个跟John

Interestingly, there is no bylines for individual articles there. The style

almost indulged in the individual quirkiness.
