repossession。但是buyer一栏会写某某银行。如果刚好redfin上有近期成交价，以及
成交日期，你就可以大概知道银行是多少钱收回去的。有时候收回的银行不是贷款银行。 |

to do that, the foreclosure process would be much longer than it was usually
done before.
Will this change in future? No one knows, especially if lender sees too
many people strategically walk away from their house, and bank is in no
hurry to repossess the house nowadays anyway.
This is my impression, since I am not too much into real estate business, I
could be wrong and welcome correction from real experts. |

至于景军《神堂记忆》在国内反响挺大，我个人没仔细通读，不好随便评价。
不过粗略的感觉是有点外部视角，有些地方似乎比较文学化。通过组织素材的方式，借助
调查对象来揭示个人看法（不过美国的民族志都有这个发展趋势）。他主要观点似乎是解
释人们在政治压力和社会运动面前保存信仰的一种agency，还有就是通过群体记忆来研究
社会变化。
有谁详细看过的欢迎发表高见。
我还找到了他的一篇paper，等我看了以后再来评价
“Village Dammed, Village Repossessed: A Memorial Movement in Northwest
China.” American Ethnologist, 26(2):324-343, May 1999
这个景军现在在清华混，呵呵。
其实我的主要兴趣是比较偏科学方法的，这种比较thickly descriptive的东西有时候看
起来会觉得是在看小说。

不敢一个人带孩子住一楼。况且一楼又比较潮湿，就选了个三楼住。
三楼楼板很不稳，走起来都吱吱的，要是体重重点的走快了都觉得楼在晃。女儿四岁，
急性子，走路很快，嗓门也比较大。但睡觉的时间段 (9：30pm－8：00am) 从来非常安
静.
刚搬来第一天，孩子在房间里高兴得跳了一下。
结果楼下一个美国老人跑上来很生气
地说：我有心脏病，有人蹦我就受不了，你们有孩子根本就不应该住在楼上！本来我是
想说对不起，可听他说话的语气，心里也不痛快，就跟他说，我们以后会注意，只是房
东没说我不可以住在楼上，要知道是这样，我也不会住这。
过了一个星期，那老人向leasing office complain 说小孩在房间里跑步和跳，接着我
就收到leasing office的电话，一次，两 次，三次。。。每次我都说小孩只是走路快
，并不存在跑的问题，不过我说我会尽量让她走慢点。
但是更糟糕的是后来一次，孩子在阳台上玩，她把跳绳绑着一辆平时骑的塑料车，转眼
就把车扔到外面，却正好掉在老人的阳台上。（我现在都不知道她当时是怎么弄下去... 阅读全帖 |
