physicians elsewhere. most radiology departments don't want to give patients

been done. it is diagnosed by pathology. conclusion section of MRI report
should read something like "consistent with HGG in xxx area, GBM likely." or
sometimes "consistent with GBM." depending on how good the radiologist is,
the accuracy can be as high as 95%, it can also be much lower.
in most brain areas, when HGG is suspected, the only biopsy type is open

subtotal resection is usually attempted once (one time, no benefit to
repeating) to reduce tumor burden and improve quality of life (few seizures,
less headaches etc.) this may also extend survival for a few months.

we usually don't say early stage or late stage in GBM. at the time of
diagnosis, the vast majority of GBM is at late stage according to criteria

why was TACE used as a primary treatment when multi-site metastasis already
occurred and local sites and regional metastasis were resected?
i don't think anyone has shown sorafenib is effective when remote metastasis

receive chemotherapy, even with seemingly complete surgical resection.
this is by presuming the path report to be accurate. however, i cannot tell
because there is no description of morphology. i truly don't understand why
they do so much immunohistochemistry for no apparent reason, but don't
describe any major morphological features. |

need to find a good surgeon do a complete gross total resection,
immediately followed by radiation, then a few months chemotherapy. Most kids
will be cured with almost no long term side effect. If there is pulmonary
metastasis, will need whole lung radiation and the outcome is still
excellent. The tough ones are the ones with bilateral wilm's tumor. |

checkup in April, CT was done, infection was suspected at small cities in
central China, no effects after 8 weeks of different antibiotics, went to
Beijing in July, told the nodules are almost certain to be cancer, VATS for
right mid lobe removal and upper lobewedge resections, confirmed
adenocarcinoma during surgery, recovered and went home in one week. Told no
need for chemotherapy. This is something I am not sure. |

disease other than colloid cyst, just a very small chance.
2. collie cyst itself is benign, but the skull is rigid and there is only
that much space inside, so even a biologically benign growth can cause big
problems. the good news is that once such benign growth is removed, the
chance of recurrence is very low.
3. the recommended treatment for colloid cyst is complete resection.

fatal GI emergency especially for preterm babies. The etiology remains
unknown. Mutiple factors such as premarturity, bacteria translocation,
formula feeding etc may be the causes. When bowel gets necrosis,it have to

我朋友父亲也有病， 他还没敢告诉他父母。 心中苦闷压力可想而知。3个月了， 很难
再瞒住了。
早产本来也没什么，都快出院了。 可能还是因为春节期间出生的， 只有值班医生，
在医院感染了； 感染本来也不是罕见的事情，但是现在国内的病菌有抗药性； 虽然是
上海最好的儿科医院， 但是医生可能还是有点失责，沟通也不及时。
现在不是追究责任的时候， 但愿孩子这次手术后， 能度过难关。回家后， 父母多多
关爱。
我想， 孩子的肠子应当以后能长吧？
谁有这方面的专长和经验，以后护理孩子要注意的地方， 世界上哪个医院对这样的孩

梭形横纹肌肉瘤 is Spindle cell rhabdomyosarcoma. It has superior prognosis
if treated properly with combined therepy of resection, chemotherapy or
maybe with radiation too.

长到14个月，这是在手术maximal safe resection的基础上，60岁以上的愈后可以说不
好。这个放疗普通的IMRT就可以了，最常规的机器，基本上就是瘤子周围2cm全部照了
。不折腾找个靠谱医院就可以了，机器改变不了预后。对于部队医院的放疗，不好评论。 |
