can still sleep 7 hours first but then I have to feed him for him to go back
to sleep quickly, otherwise he would be very restless. So overall
including night milk he drinks almost 40 oz a day. I'm sure this is too
much. But how can I reduce the formula amount? Baby eats OK on solid food...

你们家娃是腿哪个地方痛?我们家的也是痛了好久,有时候睡着了会痛的哭醒过来,还伴
随一些蹬腿的动作.每次跟儿医讲,都被告知是生长痛.但是我们娃长的很慢的,一年也不
过3-5cm.一般的生长痛都是那些长的极快的孩子容易得,而且是关节附近痛.我们家的是
小腿肌肉痛!
最近看了另外一个儿科医生,他让娃去做一个睡眠检测.因为娃还有睡觉打鼾的问题.同
时也有可能是"restless leg syndrome",我上网查了下,觉得跟我们家儿子太像了.因为
白天玩的时候很少,基本上没有听他说腿痛,但是一睡着就开始了,严重的时候,会痛的大
哭.而痛的部位就是两个小腿的肌肉,从来没听他说膝盖痛的. |

整条腿说“都痛，全痛”。我儿子痛起来的时候，也会睡着了会痛地哭醒，不记得是不
是有蹬腿的动作，我下次注意观察一下。而且我娃长得也慢，基本也是一年长3-5cm，
现在4岁2个月，103厘米，是不是很矮啊？（当然我们两口子也不高，基因也是原因）
在班上老外孩子都比他高。睡觉到没有打鼾的问题，一会儿我也去查查restless leg
syndrome。
准备这周末带他看医生，再查个血看看是不是缺vd和钙 |

瘦肉精是一类药物，而不是一种特定的物质，是指能够促进瘦肉生长的饲料添加剂。任何能够
促进瘦肉生长、抑制肥肉生长的物质都可以叫做“瘦肉精”。
目前，能够实现这种功能的物质是一类叫做β-促效剂（β-agonist）的药物，比如在中国造
成中毒的克伦特罗（clenbuterol）和美国允许使用的雷托巴胺（Ractopamine）。
瘦肉精在上海曾经引发了几百人的中毒事件。而在台湾，由于从美国进口的猪肉里含有瘦肉

在北京的时候冬天经常去英东游泳。
标准池。由于人多，所以一个泳道之内都是分成往返两个方向，所有人都靠右游。我是
急脾气，所以每次都去中间游得比较快的那几个泳道。
一次，邪了。一女，身长大约1米8，横陈水面，仿佛浮尸一般漂在水上——仔细瞧原来
她也在慢慢地滑动四肢，似乎还是蛙泳，但是那频率和幅度大约只及那个泳道里其他人
的一半。（学过生物的请想象一下membrane protein悬在cell membrane上的样子。）
由于此女占地很大，速度很慢，造成了如下严重后果：
1、对面过来的人为了躲她撞上了绳子。
2、压在她身后的人们追尾。
3、想在水下超过她庞大身躯的人往往由于憋气不足而不得不提前浮出水面，或直接与
她相撞或串道造成其它交通事故。
在水下超越membrane protein是有一定难度的。于是，这也成了池子里不少人竞相发起 |

上次贴了一张抗战时期雅礼中学从长沙迁到沅陵、卢惠霖博士冒着空袭警报在防空洞前
给学生上课的照片：
当时引起一些疑问：卢惠霖是医学博士，抗战时担任雅礼中学化学老师、自然科学部主
任和湘雅医学院比较解剖学副教授。但美国雅礼协会网页上的这张照片的标题是他在上
物理课（http://www.yalechina.org/history/302 第12幅照片）。《雅礼协会百年史》也收入这张照片，却说是在上医学院课程（The Yale-China Association: A Centennial History, by Nancy E. Chapman, 2001, p. 57）。卢博士到底是在给雅礼中学生上物理课、还是化学课，还是给湘雅医学院学生上医学课？
今天太巧了，我考古到一批雅礼协会的早期会刊，其中1942年12月那一期上赫然印着这
