no chinese menu, no chinese waiters, only one chinese cook ( we were told)
who did not work today. The food, of course, was not the one we expected,
almost all of them are fried. I had to ask a vegatable finally, it was
actually a micellous sterilized by spoiled water. faint.. |

卖冰棍 in USA might be a better career than being a polymer chemist indeed.
When I was in graduate school, there is a indian resturant opened by a
chemical engineering PhD.
The issus is: PhD like me don't know how to run such a business. |

cuisine,it is not easy to find genuine HGR here at all. One time it was merely
Lean Pork mixed with TianMianJiang. Another time is similar to your
experience. The bext one I had is in ChinaTwon when I visited SF this July. It
is called
"ChengDu" restautrant on the southeast corner of DuBanJie and Jackson Street.
One time when I ordered SuanNiBaiRou at Champaign, it was hot sliced lean pork

and in CAS, i was 80-90kg at (graduation)
and the first semester in USA, 90->85kg (since no resturant to go)

FEB 11，2000，我们一大群人就到了NEW ORLEANS。 住的地方是事先订好的离
Bourbon Street 不远的一处由一个HOUSE改建的HOTEL，我们4个女孩，3个
graduate和一个under住一套two bedrooms, two baths, one kichen apartment,
还有临街的阳台。这样一套房子$150/DAY，NO TAX，还管breakfast, 可比
coffee & donuts 好多了。
新到一地，吃饭当然是头等大事，所以就先说吃乐。临走时我带了$100的CASH，
心想够用了，少不了可以刷信用卡，其实不然，DOWNTOWN的很多餐馆都只收CASH，
100块钱只混了四五天，还没怎么去BAR喝酒。闲话少说，去NEW ORLEANS 别忘
多带CASH。
DOWNTOWN的餐馆当然是去了不少，我觉得最好的是FRENCH MARKET RESTURANT,
就在FRENCH MARKET的旁边，不是很起眼，但CRAW FISH，OYSTER之类都做得不错。

I passed this place to work almost everyday and always want to go. They also
have a resturant in Vegas but I didnt go as the review is not as good as in
NYC.
The food is decent and the decroration is so pretty.

雨在屋顶敲了一夜，我也不知道自己睡得好不好，因为似乎一夜都没睡着在听雨敲屋顶
，但又没有完全醒过来。
出门前上网读了一会新闻，今天才知道刘晓波获得了2010年的诺贝尔和平奖，又读了一
些关于他该不该获奖的争论，让我当即死了1,048,576个脑细胞，这些脑细胞本来是可
以用来找到建立世界和平的秘方的。
不知道脑细胞和计算机的内存是不是可以算一类东西？麦可大概知道这一点。麦可总有
用最不科技的方式来解释最科技的问题的方法。
在去办公室的路上，突然觉得今天没有加班的mood，于是决定要追求一下work & life
balance。Work是什么我知道，但是life是什么呢？
天还在下着小雨，我想不出答案，于是给马迪打了个电话。马迪是我大学的同学，我毕
