saying RETIs overall are too richly valued.
I am not saying there are no attractive REITs; in fact, I have LONG
positions in 3 REITs, and SHORT in 1; but i wouldn't buy any blanket REIT
fund/etf right now. |

从网上下了Bronstein的《国际象棋自学指南》和Reti的《64格导游大师》，
发现对我来说都有点难。至少其中棋局的很多步骤我不明白为什么要那么走，
但两位大师都没有解释，也许那些步骤比较trivial，大师们只解释比较精彩的步骤吧。
后来在amazon.com看大家对象棋书的评价，看到上面两本书比较适合"advanced
beginner"(好像某个分数1300-1600)来看。对我这种"absolute beginner"确实有点深。
后来从别处看到有人推荐这几本书，买来看还挺不错的:
1.Tarrasch（塔拉什）的《The Game of Chess》
这本书非常受欢迎，是因为(用作者的话来说)作者是用母亲教小孩说话的方式来教初学者

It has been one heck of a morning!
Today began at 2:45AM up in Boston. I had spent the past few days in
Brighton with Lauren, but after hearing about big bass in the Cape Cod Canal
I knew I had to get back to the fish.
I was just about the only car on the highway all the way to the bridge which
was definitely a nice change of pace. Finally at around 4:40AM I settled
down in my honey hole along the rocks of the Big Ditch.

Inspired by Master GooG, I am starting to write reports in English. It also
saves me big time. I never get the hang of inputing Chinese characters
faster than 10 character per minute.
Today I have done some Carp fishing using a new method. The new method is
very similar to the crappie fishing method, except you use dough baits
rather than mini jigs. Not sure it shall work or not, as I have not used it
much in the past. Most of my previous catches are done using heavy set up,

Don't need rush to correct it, but let him remember his mental status and be
alert if he falls into it in the furture. Here the importance is not

从开始读诗到写诗， 大概有一年半的样子。 该是中年危机闹的鬼。 开始时读的
都是英文诗， 心痒了， 就开始试着翻译， 这时才发现自己中文退步的厉害。 有时一
个英文词， 头脑里英文的定义很清楚， 却想不出中文词是什么。 大概翻译了十几首
后， “心就胀满了诗意”， 不得不泄到键盘上。 很尴尬的是自己的中文和英文都是
半瓶子水。 两者势均力敌， 常常会起笔时想的是中文， 终了却成了英文， 那个赢，
完全是哪种语言对了当时的感觉。 也许是距离产生美感， 或是我对声音和语调的敏
感， 虽然我不懂法语， 却觉得那是诗的语言， 英语， 似乎硬朗了些， 欠悠扬， 而
中文则更加硬一些， 更适合豪情。 因为我自认是一个平淡的人， 对豪情没有诗感，
写诗时又总是边写边读， 结果涂鸦的英文诗反倒多于中文的。
对自己没有信心， 只敢把诗交给陌生人读。 于是找到了这个网站 “allpoetry”
。 这里你可以贴诗， 但有个条件， 你每贴一首诗， 必须评论两首其他作者刚刚贴

we designed embedded board, running basic linux,
no fancy stuff (e.g. network manager).
it has 2 ethernet ports: eth0, eth1
1. plugin cable to eth1, restart board.
it comes back, eth1 is alive, i can ping it.
2. move the cable from eth1 to eth0,
run "udhcpc --reties 4 -n -q -i eth0"
ifconfig shows eth0 now has a valid ip addr, also it's UP.
3. but i cannot ping eth0
4. if i start with eth0, can ping eth0.
move to eth1, then cannot ping eth1.
