on a cool evening in late April, I watched a performance of Shen Yun, the
two and a half hour variety show organized by the religious sect Falun Gong.
Artistically, it was pleasant: The dancers are professionals, emotive and
lithe. The emcees — one American, one Chinese — who introduce the acts and

下午在工具电耗时一个半小时， 购买27元物事， 节约4.76元
晚上耗时三个小时， revive a nine-years old computer, 诊断出CDROM损坏， 找出一
个灰尘密布的老drive, 置换之（其中包括重新设置电源线， 吸了几口废气）， 一开始
和硬盘设置有误， 几经折腾， 终于开始安装xp 了 |
