These pictures were taken in Xining, the capital city of China's Qinghai
Province. Every Fraidy, ethnic Hui Muslim street prayers occupy major roads
in the city to pray. Even non-Muslim resident areas are routinely blocked.
Growing anger in the city has reportedly led to a few conflicts between
prayers and store owners.
