发帖数: 1140 | 2 目的: 把C++ code + solaris JDK 移植到 RH9 上.
过程: 源程序 在 solaris 下编译成功. 用的是命令:
g++ -G -I/JDK-path/include -I/JDK-path/solaris source.c -o dest.so
然后, 先在 RH9下安装了SDK1.4, 用的是同样的命令, 出错了,出错信息是:
"-G" is not recognized by g++
XXXXX, undefined reference to 'main'
collect2: 1d return 1 exit status
分析: 将命令换成 "-g", 还是一样. 查了g++ 在 linux 的manual,都没有-G选项.可是
"-G" 命令可以在solaris下执行,不能在linux下执行. 如果在solaris下不用-G选项,出错
信息和linux下一样.
solaris下JDK1.2
哪位高人给指点指点. 怎样解决? |

version as below:

After extracting it, I failed to run it. The log file says:

发帖数: 12463 | 7 白用别人的东西，按说应该表示感谢。但是我实在不明白，有些东西怎么越做越回去了
比如open office，一直可以用它的spreadsheet开打任何文件的，结果那天第一次用
mac，发现mac的ooffice发现只有csv
后缀的可以用这个打开，其他都只用word打开。本来以为就mac版这样，没两天，可能
自动更新了，ubuntu下面的ooffice
也这样了。就算我在spreadsheet里面开打不是csv后缀的，也是用word开。我嚓，文件
都得改成csv后缀的。
然后，不知道哪天，这个弱智的问题又改回来了，可以随便开了。。。但是还是有很多
别扭的地方，比如储存成文本文件，必
须选择quote，‘ 或者 “。 加个空的选项就这么难吗？
再如 ubuntu，我有一年多没用了，今年装一个，发现默认主题的xxoo什么的是按照mac
的位置做的，有必要吗？音量调
节，顶端的panel没有，找了一会儿也没发现如何添加上去。IM，msn在linux想来没有
问题，可以偏偏现在这个什么ubuntu
one，难用至极，而且我不知道该怎么注销！屏幕的expose特效，以前很简单就找到了

发帖数: 187 | 8 after i upgrade to RH9.0, ld has problem in link glut programs. it can't find several X functions reference. When i add -lX11 to the gcc command line, it reports lib X11 does not exist. then i check /etc/ld.so.conf, the directory /usr/X11R6/lib is
included there. I don't understand why ld does not look into /etc/ld.so.conf file to searh for the libraries. Someone told me that the path is hardcoded. Very strange!!! |

装了个RH9, 同时还装了个VNC 3.3.7,
这样就可以通过VNC viewer来远程控制这个Linux Box
Linux上启动vncserver :0, /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc
在我的windows XP上用vncviewer可以看到KDE的桌面,
和本机上差不多. 只是字体很难看.
看来一下vncserver的perl脚本, 有几句是加font path的
$cmd .= " -fp ";
加入了我本机(linux box)的fontpath 和 unix/:7100后,
Xvnc启动后总是出错, 找不到fontpath
有没有人知道这个问题如何解决? |

For most tasks several scripts should be enough, no need to use emacs, kaka!
I am now using a 80GB hd with rh9 on it, no need to worry about disk space :-) |

呵呵，谢谢几位的回答，现在又遇到新问题了。
我想在fstab里将新盘mount上但是出现如下错误：
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdb1,
or too many mounted file systems
有意思的是，当系统RH9.0起来后，我可以用mount /dev/hdb1 /disk2 -t ext2
并且mount上以后可以正常使用。
格这个新盘我是这么操作的：
fdisk /dev/hdb 然后选择n，只分一个分区。
然后用mkfs /dev/hdb1格式化。
fdisk -l 可以看到如下信息：
Disk /dev/hdb: 17.1 GB, #####bytes
255 heads, 63 secors/track, 2088 cylinders
Units = cylincer......

我想将/var/spool/mail这个目录移到另外一个分区/data/mail，
我只要修改一下/var/mail这个link的指向是不是就可以了？
我用ln -s /data/mail生成的mail好像不行（虽然这个mail link在/var下面），
如果用ln -d /data/mail又出什么Invalid cross-device link，
看了man page，感觉没有什么帮助。那位帮忙拆几招？

我在terminal输入： man cc
出现：
No manual entry for cc
但是man ls, man mkdir等都没有问题，
用set看了一下，没有设MANPATH,
但是我即使设:
MANPATH=$MANPATH:/usr/local/share/man:/usr/share/man
export MANPATH
还是不管用。那位告诉一下cc, f77的man page都藏在哪里？是不是还得自己装？

version. They will probably support RH9 in the next
version of ifc. |
