再加上枪重量不超过7.5 lb，就可以算作scout rifle了。
AR是不是也可以改装成scout rifle，还是只能bolt-action。
另外请推荐一个front mount scope，正常的bolt action rifle怎么往前安，要在
stock上钻眼吗 |

that means no more than 10 rd magazine, and if the rifle has a pistol grip,

今天回来晚了，所以只能去indoor了。第一次用Smith & Wesson M&P15－22 （.22lr)
。觉得自己很喜欢这一款。可是杀伤力估计不大，比AR15可能差远了。lol
打这个rifle之前practice了 Sag Sauer P226 and Ruger LC9. 因为P226 跟 LC9 kick
特别厉害，每次打完我就伤心哎。汗～～～我都不敢奔哪个。可别笑我哎！
不过用完p226,lc9后，就打了m&p。大家看看我的成果，呵呵。没有用guide哦！这个
rifle比较轻，而且back kick几乎没有。打完以后觉得我特牛。lol |

assault weapons是禁枪人士发明的专门用来和assault rifle混淆的词汇，糊弄百姓的
效果一直不错。至于上次94年的assault weapons ban，发射一模一样子弹的半自动枪
有的禁有的不禁，几条枪就是因为看着不顺眼就列在被禁的行列。这个AWB的政治象征
性意义远高于加强社会安全的作用，不管禁枪拥枪的事后对AWB效果的调查结果都是没

马里兰AR15 Heavy Barrel不算在assault rifle的list里面，马里兰的法律应该没有问
题，我主要担心Federal law认为所有AR15都是assault weapon，而且不让
nonimmigrant alien拥有assault weapon. |

都说air rifle威力太小
pellet穿不进bullet stop，会反弹回来
所以不允许air rifle，但是.22 rim fire可以
没找到open to public的outdoor range
附近的大侠给推荐个解决方案吧

后院也没有20 yard以上的安全空间 |

yes, we do have a few folks that shoot air rifle and air pistol. We have
three 50-yard ranges that work very well for them. Only issue you may have
to deal with are the other firearms on the range that can be pretty
distracting for a air rifle shooter. Usually, we can get you on the far end
of the pistol range away from most shooters. |

技术的还有HK，Glock，Kahr，都没有刻意宣传这个polygonal rifling的应用。是不是

了，于是很多人认为是打得太多膛线都磨没了。CZ这么强调可能是为了防止大家退货吧
。我觉得CZ82的主要优点是左右手均可操作，便宜，以及C&R eligible.他可能是C&R能
搞到的最现代的手枪了吧。 |

玩。偏向.22和9mm，因为不是指标内的，没有作预算。
.22，子弹便宜，但太像玩具，连老婆都嫌它肉。但是可以用来训练女儿。
9mm，子弹通用，但是枪口动能比手枪多不了多少，+20%？
.223算正经rifle了，多是semi-auto，要买的话可能得多做些research，牌子太多。
.308大概是打猎的人用的，平常玩太烧银子，毕竟就是民工一枚。
有经验的讲讲？我不打猎。 |

The original stock is a joke. The custom one cost me $120 and the silencer
cost me $30. With the rifle, pump, total is around $450.
My suggestion (I have not yet tried) is to buy a Marauder, which has bull
barrel (quiet) and a 10 rounds magazine.
Advantage:
1. Quiet with silencer (less noise when fired than that from the pellet
impact on target)
2. Very accurate (sub inch group at 30 yards with 9X scope)
3. Cheap ammo

with the rest hunting cost this is nothing. Using sabot slug essentially
extend your range from 50 yd to 125 yd.

我理解Choke的作用应该主要是控制多个小弹丸的散步的。对单一大弹丸，slug，一般
应该也没问题，但是多了不见得好，因为这种大弹丸对chock的压力有时还是可能比较
大的。

口小。
我的猎枪现在只用于近距离家防，所以也懒得上chock，这样buckshot和slug都不会有
任何阻碍了。
有些地方好像的确限制步枪打猎，如果非打猎那也就只好走猎枪了。否则，绝对是步枪
好得多，虽然买枪稍微贵一点。 |

微调。没有望远镜实在太不方便了。
后来sight in shotgun rifled barrel，这个便宜scope，调节开关太cheap了。
５０yard 基本sight in，然后１００yard脱靶了，时间到了，我没追究为什么。
所以我还得回去一次。
看了很多youtube，这次我知道应该怎么做了。上次浪费了很多子弹，后来请教了那边
工作人员才有点眉目。cabelas 的sight in实在离太远了，和你的情况相似。 |

Except for those in serious business, 9mm or 45acp carbines
make good home defense weapon. More fire power than pistol, less over
penetration then rifle, more controllable than rifle or shotgun.
I want a good 45ACP carbines myself, but don't know any good and affordable
