五月份时女儿说了好几回：我们周末去采草莓。后来网上查了一下，要到五月底、六
月初，草莓才大量上市，可以供旅客采摘。
昨天是星期五（六月三日），女儿一下班从公司回来就说：明天十点去采草莓。吃晚
饭时她说：要边采边吃。我回答说：吃了太多要坏肚子。采好买回家的草莓，你吃不了
容易变坏。我心衬：这小鬼真精！
今天早晨等她吃好早饭已经九点多了。她与同住北京女孩下地下室去了。地下室有一
间很大的家庭活动室，可以看电视，录像，锻炼身体等，从朝东的门出去，就是后庭院
，有块蔬菜地，还可以种花，有二枝松树苖。不一会儿，她喊道：“妈，你来看李娜的
网球决赛。”我下去看了一会儿就问：什么时候去采草莓？她答：吃好中饭再出发。中
饭吃完，一看已12：30了。我问路上要多少时间，她答半小时，采摘也要半小时，回到
家大约二点半到三点。我心想：我有睡午觉的习惯，因为晚上她们睡得晚，我只好随她
们的作息，可早晨我早醒，要给她做早餐，下午一定要补一觉，人才支撑得着。不去吧
，太遗憾了。好吧，今天午觉就晚点睡吧！这难得的农家乐生活体验不能错过。

个上次从local 的一个小organic groceries store买的vine ripe的西红柿。本来也是
第一次买这样的西红柿，看上去也不太红，个子倒是挺大，但是有点发白的样子。没抱
什么希望的煮了一下，扔了几块pork rinds和几个汤圆进去乱煮，结果味道出来就是国
内那种正宗的西红柿的味道，顿时感觉好多了！ |

沉醉于那种festive bread，不能自拔，哈哈），比如cranberry walnut bread，
stollen,最近在研究将新鲜水果或者蔬菜和面包混合一起的那种面包。
这种香蕉面包，里面含有两个mashed banana(very ripe)。在我的印象里，烤出来的应
该像香蕉一样淡黄色，可是出来的是这种颜色，上网查了一下图片，原来香蕉面包就是
这种颜色。原配方里需要一杯糖，我只用了四小勺糖，毕竟糖吃多了不好。
烤制此款面包的时候，家里都弥漫着香蕉的香味，太好闻了。
需要配方的，我可以另外补充，此款面包做法类似蛋糕，不需要发酵，只需要加入
baking soda。 |

banana bread都是漂漂亮亮，非常好吃的。
基本原料：

开胃菜：Baked Brie with Honeyed Raspberries
材料：
1 块轮状Brie Cheese，250g左右。冷藏变硬后，把上面的白色的外皮切掉。Brie的白
色外皮在加热时是不会融化的，这样就相当于做了一个盛了奶酪的小碗。
1/4 cup蜂蜜
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1盒raspberry(6盎司)
适量rosemary做装饰
做法：
1 烤箱预热350F度，把Brie放在小盘中，入烤箱加热3-5分钟。我在盘子下面垫上隔热
的硅胶垫，防止下面的brie受热过度化得太软，从rind的裂缝处流出来。到brie软化就
可以，不要让brie完全融化。那样就不能支持上面的水果了。
2 小锅中加入蜂蜜和balsamic vinegar，一边加热一边用橡皮铲搅拌，到温热融合即可
。把洗好拍干的raspberry加入，用橡皮铲翻动，使它们均匀地裹上蜂浆。

1， 牛油果两个，切成1cm到2cm的丁，放入器皿
2， vine ripe tomato 三个，一定要那种汁多熟到刚好的，切成丁，放入
3， 黄洋葱，半个，切丁，放入
4， serrano pepper, 两个，切成细丁，放入
5， 香菜，一小撮，切碎，放入
6， baby spinach 视个人喜好，我加了不少。
7， lime 两个，挤入lime juice，
8， 加salt and black pepper
