上周末去了科州著名的Shelf Road攀岩，是个发展得非常完善的Sports攀岩区，总共有
设计好的6，7百条攀岩路线。去了才知道什么是科州攀岩的黄金季节，蜿蜒好几迈的石
壁上爬满了蜘蛛一样的人，远远的就能看见，在明媚的阳光下很是壮观。大部分的路线
都在5.11-5.12的水平，低一些的就需要寻找一下，5.7-5.9的总是被一大群的人占着轮
流练习。我们队里两人已经Lead过5.11a的路线了，希望进入5.11 Lead水平，路线会多

字， 就是大2-3毫米厚的长片牛肉， 很嫩也腌的很好， 比几个朋友常去的那家要好吃
。不过装修差一点， 小菜不好吃， 没吃， 有KIMCHI煎饼好吃， 可以不断要。

到收钱的地方。结果今天收到ticket了，说toll raod 4块多，加上penalty of
overdue，一共
55块钱。
知道很多州都是，如果第一次误闯，一般都没什么，而且，所有的toll road都有交钱
的地方。现在问
题是，并没有通知我们交钱，直接过了一个星期就给了一张overdue的罚单。上个星期5
的事情。
1.如何argue这种penalty
2.如果不付，会有什么情况？吊销驾照？（我觉得他们是抢钱的行为，故意等到
overdue了才给
notice）
3.如果不付，我们都要搬到外州去了可以么？ |

上个月从UC，Irvine 经过261， 241 上91, 我是第一次走这个路，知道这段是有toll
roads，当时非常小心，并且经过一个人工收费站交过3块钱的费用，结果今天还是收到
罚单 (Irvine Ranch N Lane 11, amount of toll due 2.75, amount of penalty due
57.50). 我有个疑问，是那段路有两个需要交费的地方还是怎样？如果确实有两段，
那有什么办法可以减免或者减少罚款吗？谢谢 |

最近美国新闻报道，二个美国驾车者因为在路上开车发生一点小摩擦，其中一人怒不可
遏，居然拔枪射杀了另外一位驾车者。反映了road rage的可怕与悲剧。
自己来美国几年，也遇到一些这样情况，其中一次最为可怕，几乎断送了自己生命，这
里谈谈供大家汲取经验教训。
那时自己刚刚学会开车不久，对车上许多开关的使用也稀里糊涂，但是居然大胆到晚上
与一位朋友去开高速。开车在路上，发现偶尔对面过来的车子会向我们闪闪灯，开在我
们前面的一辆18轮大货车也通过反光镜闪了灯，旁边的那位朋友懂一些，就说可能我们
的车
灯太亮，成了雾灯，别人抗议，我们应该减弱一些。但是在慌乱中我们二位居然都愚蠢
到不知如何把雾灯减弱，于是还是继续开。开了一会，前面的那辆大货车速度减慢，我

每年的十月，都是美东加东秋色的peak time。不仅仅是绚丽的颜色，十月还是大批的
南迁动物的搬家时节。嗯，似乎语文水平严重退化，想了半天没想出其他的句子来描述

什么房子时...
不止一次。后来接到罚单超过100$。我去了toll road办公室与他们交涉。主要理由是
新驾驶新移民不懂是无意的，我请求免掉罚款。他们确给我免了。我也告诉他们以后注
意。
你不妨去当地办公室如有的话去试试，我想很大可能至少减少罚款。自己提出要求。他
们可能会向你推销他们的折扣通行证等。告诉他们你会考虑的。不要马上买也别马上拒
绝。也别觉得他们给了你优惠你就需要买他们的产品等。 |

春假，早就打算好了和同学开车去Olympic和Mt Rainier两个国家公园玩。
临近了春假才看到天气预报说整个西北将会在狂风暴雪中度过。
但是既然旅馆订好了，一年能出去玩的机会也不多，于是咬咬牙还是去了。
我是沿着I90开往Seattle. 去的时候还好，只是下暴雨。
先说说Olympic吧。当天预报是有40mph的大风和暴雨、雪。去了才知道有多么可怕。
雨林里面大风将树枝刮得到处都是，最可怕的是，突然看到大树连根倒下挡住去路。
绕道而行，雨林深处几乎没有像样的路，树枝石块随处可见。
直接导致了车前部的lower engine cover和后部的两块塑料板全毁。
所幸没有伤到重要的部分。
（后来赶去dealer修理，修车的人震惊的说您这是开哪儿去了，花了200多全换掉）

本都去过了，而且山区多，怕冬天下雪封路。走内陆的路线，Idaho，都是平原，应该
不会下雪封路，但全都是沙漠，也没什么好地方可玩，Boise, Twin Falls 之类的。来
回走不同路线？

今晚天黑下雨视线不好路也不熟，在Ford Bend County误上了Ford Bend Pkwy Tool Rd
，这条toll road在Fort Bend County境内的路段由Fort Bend County运营，一直延伸
到Harris County，在Harris County境内的路段由Harris County运营。都开到到了出
口才反应过来（已在Harris County境内）。都不知道如果收罚单是哪个county寄过来
？应该向哪个county交过路费？或者是分别交？那就麻烦了，还是说等收到罚单再说？ |

唯一一条横穿冰川公园的公路,在这之前人们只能坐火车到公园外然后骑马游玩. 因为
当时的建造者希望可以把公路尽量融入山势而减少对风景的破坏,这条路历时13年才建
造成功(1921-1933).这条路是全美国最难清雪的一条路,最高处logan pass高度有6000
多feet,积雪可以厚达80feet(25米),所以全年这条路全程开放的时间也就有三四个月,
剩下的时间游览公园只能从外面绕行. 因为沿途要经过两个大的冰川湖(St. Mary lake
, Lake McDonald),路中间部分又是沿着冰川切出的山谷在峭壁上通过,Going-to-the-
sun road被称为全美最美的一条公路.在路上开车的时候很多地方都让我想起去云南时
的公路,当时从丽江到德钦的路线虽然路况可能不如这里,但风景可是一点都不差.我觉
得这条路最出色之处是在短短的50mile里汇聚了各种风景,让人目不暇接.以至有的人说
