发帖数: 1267 | 4 昨天面试了一个CS的,机器人方向,参加过不少的机器人project,包括DARPA和Robo Cup.
今年的Robo Cup他们参加的是Standard platform,用的是一个法国公司出的机器人,叫
Nao.
往年用的是SONY的Aibo. 因为这个是他的Master proejct,就详细的问了一下相关的内
容,
包括机器人的姿态控制,对位置的判定,环境参数的更新,相互的通讯等等.....
还是挺好玩的.不过这个机器人还不是很成熟,好像还在开发中. |

最新一期的《时代》周刊公布了2011年度50大最佳发明，麻省理工学院研发的一种感冒
药——号称感冒杀手的DRACO位列榜首；苹果公司刚刚发布的iPhone 4s手机中的人机对
话功能Siri排名第14位。
上榜的其他为大众所熟悉的发明还包括：在人机大战中大出风头最终战胜人类的IBM超
级计算机沃森，波音公司投入市场的波音787梦想飞机等。
从这个榜单中可以看出，新能源和生物医疗领域的发明备受编辑推崇，比如前十名中，
除了榜首的感冒药，还有从脂肪里提取干细胞、疟疾疫苗这两项生物医疗发明，进入前
十的新能源技术包括人造树叶、锂-水电池、激光车前灯三项。
不过，也有很多发明只是为了好玩，可能没有太多实用性，比如日本Neurowear公司研

biggest banks related to foreclosure abuses including "robo-signing" of
documents.
The deal is the largest multi-state settlement since the Tobacco Settlement
in 1998, the Department of Justice said. Among the money allocated will be $
1.5 billion distributed nationwide to about 750,000 borrowers who lost their

Maybe you should clarify what're your expectations more, "basic long term
investment" goal definitely helps clarify something important, but need more
clarity, such as:
Do you like to use stocks/bonds or Mutual Funds/ETFs to accomplish that goal
?
Do you have a large lump sum or will do DCA?
Do you trade frequently or only once or twice a year?

and free AA advices, but they don't apply for individual's 401k AA
allocations, which could be a daunting task for someone without any
experience.
wealthminder and paulmerrian provide company-specific 401k advices (if your
company is on their lists).
There are also for-fee 401k allocation services, not many, though, you can
google them. |

代都适用？
2。谁说的每个帐号都要达到一样的allocation了？不同资产，不同帐号的tax
efficiency 是不一样的。
3。aggregate 一下总的百分比，然后rebalance 一下能有多难？每个季度或是每年弄
一次，excel里顶多10分钟的事。你要是google sheet里弄一个就更是一劳永逸了。
你要喜欢花钱，当然也可以找收费的advisor或是robo-advisor。别找太creative的，
没事瞎折腾的 |

least the basic of it first, without committing real money.
Otherwise, schwab is not too bad an option. You could do a lot worse,
trading in and out, etc.
It's not really free though. They essentially charge you from the kind of, "
mandatory
" cash position and the so-called fundamentally weighted ETFs (higher ER).
In that regard, they are no better than wealthfront and similar robo-
advisors.

1。先去找一个rebate比较高的agent作为back-up，但是不可以签exclusive agreement
。对他的一切email，电话等要虚与委蛇，
2。看到自己中意的房子，要求seller agent出让2%的commission给seller，并且在
offer letter上写明本transaction的agent commission是3%（假设本来是5%）。
3。如果seller agent不同意，请出那个back-up agent,下offer，拿大约1-1.5%的
rebate。
其实当前社会上最紧缺的是robo-agent，也就是只给rebate，不干任何实质事情的
buyer agent，本版有没有agent对这个不干活白拿钱的事情感兴趣呢？ |

UnionPrepaid in my name. Got a fraud alert that just needed text
confirmation - no big deal, easy and done.
Couple days later I did another 5K transfer to my wife's UnionPrepaid from
the same account (JOINT checking). That one got flagged - locked out my
online access to Chase and needed to call them.
Spent about 10 minutes arguing with the guy at Fraud Prevention. He was

Nah, it's deeper than that. Essentially it's a bunch of jerks looking for
loopholes to shove their own loss onto someone else.
Banks already suffered huge losses on non-performing loans so getting the
real estate assets back can at least put a floor beneath, which requires
them to kick out home owners not paying the mortgage fast.
Home owners are upset that, while banks get bailed out, they have got 0.
Now they smell blood in the water that bankers may not have proper paper
