各位鱼友好！
最近一段时间巨忙，很难抽出时间钓鱼。时值鲥鱼鱼讯，鱼友笑笑上周末去Flat Rock
的HuronRiver钓上了36条鲥鱼(shad)，大的有三镑左右，小的有0.8~1lbs。据说国内长
江鲥鱼已经夸张地卖到500元/斤http://jingji.cntv.cn/20100520/104597.shtml，因此，笑笑强烈建议组织一次活动。这个诱惑太大了，这等好消息一定得与各位鱼友分享，特别展开一次钓鲥鱼活动，鱼讯难得，机不可失。
时间：2011年11月13日（周日），下午1:00开始
地点：Flat Rock, Huron River Dam (+42° 5' 49.96", -83° 17' 44.13")，详见附

Short approach (300m from parking lot to "fun rock" area, "By comparison,
exit 38 approach is like an alpine climb", rotatezh's parter's word)
We did 6 sports routes in half day Monday at fun rock.
Good rock quality and variaties
Quite few long multi-pitches, rotatezh did a 10 pitch on Sunday
Nearby town Withrop also has nice mountain bike routes, bc ski, horseback
riding, and good restaurant
3 hours of driving totally worth a plan B for rain out week |

It mentioned step in with your front foot land on your your heel then rock
your weight forward on to it. It helps transferring your weight into the
shot.
I guess I had that in mind. When I served in our double match, I started to
lift my toes up (front foot) then rock forward. Almost all the pros do
this. And I have tried it in the past, but never felt any difference.

I have copied the rocking front foot in the past. But I was only pretend
doing that just for show and did no get the real benefit. Like I hit
forehand stop then do a fake shoulder turn and follow through to make it
pretty. I am a fake "formist".
Yesterday, I got lucky on the first try. First I think I toss the ball a
little in front by accident almost and I transfer the weight and timed it
with the Rocking or rolling of the front foot.

因为头一天大家在molokini玩得都很上瘾，决定第二天去hotel附近snorkeling也很有
名的black rock去试试。
从我们住的Hyatt到离Black Rock 最近的Sheraton开车不到5分钟，但难的是停车。如
果你不住在Sheraton， 停车的地方不好找。 如果停在Sheraton的garage, 好像要大概
6到7块一小时，有时还没有空。如果喜欢snorkeling， 就这点说，住在Sheraton也不
错。 看一看Sheraton的风景：
走路5分钟，就到了black rock:

发帖数: 132 | 7 我去的 BestBuy 吉他连在运行 Guitar Hero 3 的机器上，Mic 也没有连，
因此只能玩 Rock band 里的鼓。这星期二只发行 xbox 360 和 PS3 版本的
Rock Band, PS2 版要推迟到十二月中旬发售, 好像没有 Wii 版。Best Buy
里在用 360 版做演示，鼓，支架，踏板的做工很不错，没有一点 cheap 的
感觉。
玩之前以为鼓的部分不过是另一个摇滚版的太鼓达人或Donkey Konga而已，结果
试玩后发现 Rock Band 里的鼓和太鼓达人，Donkey Konga 的区别比 Guitar
Hero 和 Guitar Freak 间的区别还要大. Rock Band 里对鼓点的判定很严，
按照我的体会比 Guitar Hero 里对 Fret button 的判定要严很多，以至于刚上
手时在游戏默认难度下头七八个鼓点都打空了，适应了五六分钟后依然会
miss 掉 20% - 30% 左右的鼓点. 不过必须承认游戏的手感很棒，让你有努力钻
研的冲动。因为手感非常好，因此在游戏中有一种真正在演奏摇滚乐的感觉，而
不是在听音 |

去了。那里的年轻人思想沉重得要命;)
说起classic rock，虽然我没有正经听过多少，不过湾区有
个很好的classic rock电台叫做KFox, FM98.5，好像这个电
台有几首歌是每天必须要放一遍的，一首night in white satin,
一首吉他低泣时，还有the beatles的所有歌（虽然the beatles
仿佛不能算是classic rock吧？）有时候塞车的时侯听到这些
歌，真想打个电话跟主持人交流一下，能年复一年地喜欢这些
歌也是件很不容易的事，我总猜想那个电台主持人一定有很多
关于这些歌的话要说，可惜都被广告淹没了；但是也可能他并
没有什么评论，只是这些音乐已经成为他的一部份，听了这么
多年了，能说的话已经都说完，但是还忍不住一遍又一遍放出
来-做电台主持人真是不错。
他们现在开始放david bowie了，因为他要开演唱会了吧？昨天
正好听完Ziggy Stardust的CD，换了电台又是他的Five years,
这首歌听上去太凄厉了，不然肯定也是KFox每日必放曲目之一，

无意间看到Pearl Jam的演出消息，真是喜出望外。听Rock的基本上没有不知道Pearl
Jam的，这个乐队虽然不是我最喜欢的风格，但是他们的影响力却大大超出了我原来的
预期。作为Grunge的鼻祖之一，Eddie Vedder也是和Kurt Cobain一样的反商业化代表
人物，拒绝和抵制音乐产业的商业化运作。以至于滚石杂志无奈的评价Eddie在过去的

最近又看到开了，然后上次回上海发现又倒闭了，这次绝对不是消费力的问题了，hard
rock 确实没啥好玩的，特无聊的一种美国文化，连我这种特别喜欢美国音乐美国电影
的人都无法接受hard rock 单调无聊的设计，更何况那些根本不喜欢美国文化的了

刚开始以为是洗车的刷子有问题，就报了保险。estimate 的时候他们说不是洗车的刷
子有问题，是rock chip,开高速引起的。打电话给adjustor,刚开始说保险cover rock
chip. 过了两天他们派了个field inspector, 说rock chip is not covered. 再联系
adjustor 就不理我了。

alum rock park是加州市立公园的「老大哥」，历史及规模在加州市立公
园中都可称得上是第一。当您被都市的烦杂污染而身心疲累时，alum rock
公园可说是一帖「最便利」的解毒剂，甚至无需走出圣荷西，您就可坐享老树
环抱的自然美景。从1890-1932年以来，明矾岩区的27处矿泉提供民众最佳

最后，预测一下the Big One的epicenter, 想必是去年（10/30/07）的Magnitude 5.4
event near Alum Rock处无疑，因为this event (/30/07 Magnitude 5.4 event
near
Alum Rock)，将弯曲最危险的Hayward fault （现在处于150年的窗口期）与另一条大
致沿I-680走向的Calaveras fault连在一起。不过，南湾鬼谷的同学大可放心，大部分
鬼谷的office buildings都不太高，且不少是1995年后建造的。再加上大部分鬼谷的
single family houses也是1995年后建造的，均符合1995年发布的新抗震规范的要求。
只是在最危险的是三藩及Oakland的Downtown的high-rise office buildings上班的各
位，小心驶得万年船，take care.

pictured rock is one of the best place to go. 5.5 hours (munising, MI)
driving from Milwaukee.
i plan to leave Milwaukee friday afternoon stay in some where close to
Munising, MI that night. i will spend 2 days at pictured rock and come back
Sunday afternoon. there will be 30 plus chinese from Chicago go to pictured
rock that weekend with similar plan.

发帖数: 304 | 47 今天天气不错，挺风和日丽的。下午五点和朋友LX去huron river钓鱼，用蚯蚓。一开
始很慢，就一些bluegill咬钩。七点之后，rock bass开始发力，几乎两分钟一条。最
后我们两个人把蚯蚓用光了，放了一些小的，总共收获29条。是我们钓rock bass最成
功一次。rock bass虽然不大，却顶级好吃，是我们最喜欢的鱼之一，鲜美程度估计只
有crappie可以媲美。晚上炖了三条，全部吃光，爽甚。
对了，我们在michigan ann arbor。感兴趣的渔友赶紧出动吧，：） |

发帖数: 493 | 48 我在加州，这边盛产石斑。这边的石斑鱼的学名叫rockfish，钓鱼的人一般管它叫rock
cod，这是非正式的称呼。
rockfish细分有一百多种，常见的有：
gopher rockfish:
vermillion rockfish:
grass rockfish:
China rockfish:
等等。
一般卖鱼的管红色的石斑鱼都叫red rock cod。 |

答案是：很好吃！！所有种类的加州石斑都很好吃，虽然味道稍有区别（这个是见仁见
智）。
一般所说的red rock cod包括所有的红色的石斑，包括 vermillion, starry,
rosethorn等等，都很好吃。
当然，如果在中国超市见到的标着red rock cod的要略微小心一点，因为这种大部分是
从加拿大运过来的一种较大的石斑，味道比加州本地的较小的石斑差不少，当然，部分原因
可能是不够新鲜。我们这边这种卖的都比本地石斑便宜得多。 |
