。憋尿挨冻的站那至少五六个小时，去等待换取10秒的数数呐喊，和之后不到一分钟的
疯狂激冻。去过的人都说值得，不知是否皇帝新衣的评论。假如你有一定的耐力，有足
够的热情，可以自己去亲历和寻找答案。有一点可以肯定，那将是你终生难忘的一个夜
晚。
图1是新年除夕下午12点半左右，百老汇街(Broadway)从45街开始已经排满了人，最早
是11点开始放进
图2是警察严阵以待，7大道44街和45街旁的铝铁架子(Blockade)内维持秩序，时间也是
在新年12点半左右
图3是夜晚其实不是很漫长的等待
最后是午夜水晶球掉下的那一刻，2013年的开始
可行性分析
-- 天气：只要晚间不下雨或有大雪，都可以考虑
-- 温度：若晚间温度在0°C(32°F)以上，问题不很大。每低5°C困难度增加一分。要
把晚上的最低温度和街道风口因素考虑进去
-- 风速：风也是考虑因素之一，大风会使感觉(Feels Like)温度比实际温度低不少。
寒风刺骨比无风低温更消耗体能

【梅西百货感恩节游行 热气球登场】 2016年11月24日周四
公元1924年开始，梅西百货感恩节游行(Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade)已成为每
年必巨型的传统活动，今年更是迈入第90届。游行在每年的感恩节当天上午举行，上午
九点从中央公园西侧的77街(美国自然历史博物馆附近)出发，沿着中央公园西侧往南走
，通过Columbus Circle之后转入Broadway，一路走到位于34街的梅西百货正门口。
整个游行除了巨型卡通主题飘空大气球，还有各式各样的主题花车，以及仪仗队、拉拉
队的表演，走完全程约三个半小时。

city rockettes 的全国巡回那两天刚好到纳城演出，值得看
如果不是很喜欢美国人的享乐方式，downtown的酒吧没啥好玩的，走马观花看看就好
你要是喜欢自然景观那就要多跑路了 |

when I saw lanlan's dance studior's level V class's dance, I feel that's
pretty impressive.
and among the graduating class, one girl is becoming a radio city rockette,
another goes to college for dance major or sth.
and Americna parents push kids too. there is one girl, who takes ballet I
with lanlan. but she also takes another 2 classes! (her mom probably knows
teacher personally)
anyway I don't want lanlan to take dance as major, I am happy with her c |

last year, lanlan's studio's best graduate, she passed audition (20 out of
500), can be a radio city rockette this year (or dance girl for Jets and
other teams)
but still, I don't want my daughter to become a dancer!
