英国一位中国通记者撰写了一本谈中国共产党的书，被中国大陆查禁。这位记者叫理查德.马利德(Richard McGregor)，他在中国当了8年记者，现在金融时报英国总部当记者。他六月在西方(出版社Harper)出了一本新书：《党：中国共产党统治者的秘密世界》(The Party: The Secret World of China's Communist Rulers)
由于该书主要写中国共产党的“鲜为人知”或不被报道和披露的事情，所以，该书在中国的命运可以预见。中国电子时代 (Chinadigitaltimes.net) 报道说，该书目前没有电子版，也没有中文版，“目前在国内代购也已被禁”。另外，牛博网禁书指南报道，解密中共的英文书“大陆遭禁”。不过，该报道用了 “似乎”在中国遭禁的字样。设在美国的中文世界日报也报道，该书在中国被查禁。
在中国搜索引擎网站百度上搜索，可以找到成千上万条相关网站，但有关这本书的网站，大多都打不开，或者搜索不到。香港的商务印书馆网站说有此书(售价266港币)，但是说“无货”(out of stock)。

把东西方从人类走出非洲开始对比,在同类书里还算有意思.当然,东方的概念
直接被简化为中国,印度伊拉克等古文明直接无视,真悲催.对中国还算相当友
好,林则徐被类比为DEA,鸦片战争毫无疑问是毒贩战争.
目前来看更像是地理决定论,挑战论和一些社会学的大杂烩.literature review
做得还算很足,早期的地理决定论,文化论,墨西哥白银论等等都被拎出来评价
了一下.不过有意无意地漏掉了博弈论,略感失望.这有可能是本书最大的漏洞.
同时入手的还有其他基本今年经济学人的推荐,都相当有争议.

来了。罗马人对努米底亚人还是很熟悉的。硬币头像做旁证也是没办法，实在是流传下
来的东西太少了。连硬币本身的信息，比如何时铸造，流通地区也都缺乏啊。
语言学方面，我不熟悉，向你老兄学习了。
另外，我查过了老Pliny的Natural History，里面对Numidia人也是语焉不详。我查到
Dictionary of Greek and Roman Geography里面提到，Numidia各部落的特征不尽相同
。有白人（whites)也有肤色较深的人（blacks but not negroes).这个好像有近代考
古支持，但原始文献没找到。
Sallust关于Numidia人来源的说法抄写如下。他的来源是译自Hiempsal II用布匿语写
的著作。而Hiempsal的来源恐怕就只能是口头传说了。

常见的R1b1a，而是当地较稀薄的R1b1b2。然而作者又说“not yet published

义的描述。
英国 Will Durant 写的名著《世界文明史》的第一卷《Our oriental heritage 》。
从名字看就是明显的西方中心。写于上世纪初期，其中对中国的描写还不错。我发现，
从16世纪到20世纪初期，凡是对东方有一点了解的，基本都是对中国观感不错。
但是在50年代以后，也就是中共上台，西方历史著作对中国人整体的评价急转直下了。

每读一次就不得不再次感慨当时立国之父们的英明及远见。他们在北美这块土地上，抛
弃了大不列颠的君王统治，建立起美利坚这样一个伟大的国家。
