smaller stack?
I usually buyin with 100BB (NL50 Rush) and wouldn't cash out even when i
double the stack... Got backfired once in a while against deep stack but
also allows me to win some big pots too.
I think the key is to know when to fold (e.g. TPTP, Overpair etc) so the
downside of having big stack doesn't hurt you as much. |

NL 100 I lost about $100 first deposit, Deposited another $500 and quickly
lost another $200. So I have to stepped down and played NL50.
Had some nice sessions but eventually all lost back. Only $100 left, so I
said to myself f*ck it, I play NL200.
Caught some hot streaks, but everytime I am about to even, bad beat happened
. My bank roll swing from $100 - $580 frequently.
The day before yesterday, I had a breakthough. |

but it could be very shaky too, some said online stake is like 1/4 in live,
so if we play 1/2NL in live, we should at most play 50NL online, if
multitabling, even smaller stake.
rush poker is even higher stake actually.

I personally feel that pros are better off playing with regular tables as
they can find fish and play with them on one table for a while.
In rush poker, people tend to have stronger hands to get in than regular
poker, which reduces pro's edge a little bit.

RUSH 25, it is 17$), do you call? Or a limper and then a 6BB raiser?

TUrn, x(w/ flush draw). I check and wait to raise, UTG all-in and I call
River,8, UTG has 9Qs(with flush and straight at turn) and hit straight.
WO2) AKs at SB.
Preflop, MP1, 4BB and MP2 call. I shove (~23$), MP1 call with AJs and MP2 fold.

make more raises from CO or HJ instead.
flat or raise against those from CO/HJ.
fight back more from SB/BB.
after a while, rush is more like regular now because only about 1000-2000
players in the pool for a stake, many start to take notes or begin thinking

But after first month of rush NL 25 up 700$, I barely break even for the 3
weeks in the second month after down 5 buy-in last night. 3 weeks 0$ made!
With all the coolers and bad beat, I have to say the main reason is still my
poor decision while playing. I was taken to value town too many times last
night on river. I even doubled up someone 60X bb with my pocket As after
flop last night after preflop only raised 3X. This has not happened for so

nowadays ppl just so aggressive and it is tough to put them on a marginal
hand or a monster.
Small hand small pot, big hand big pot is right in theory but in reality it
is really hard to determine if you have a small hand or big hand compared to
opponent.
AA get re-raised by opponents behind you after the flop, it is tough to
determine if he hit a set, or just a TKTP or even overpair even the board

I didn't realized I generate almost $1400 rake for FTP in April alone.
Anyway, I immediately withdrew $350 back to my bank account and play only $
50 in micro Rush poker. As promised, I will only play limited poker from now
on and play only for fun. Try to build a roll from $50 and see how far I
can go.

poker knowing your opponents is so critical for your win rate (of coourse
like any other game ^_^). I felt so silly not to use HM earlier. It can
increase at least 2-3bb /100 hand over long run. |

now most ppl play it the same way as regular game. tight is good but not
optimal, you have to play more creatively and make moves. |

enough for a stack play, or a good gambling situation. yes, 55:45 over
looooong time will be a winner in the end, but if you have better spots, why
try too hard on a 10% edge at best?
yeah, i plan to play less in shorter sessions. 1 hr or so, 2 tables rush
should give you 200 points and still play with a fresh and clear mind.

the first 2 weeks,
then dropped after some cooler and bad beat. Also, I was a little tilting
sometime.
I played about 100k hands so far after almost a month. 2 tabling most of
time.
Still have lots of things to improve.
I played a super tight game , my vpip is only 12.5%. Rush is highly
beatable
if you know what you are going. Position and pot control are the key.

offer 2-4 game. Trying to play more tables, but I got tired fast and
ends up with playing less time. Now I play 3 tables a lot. maybe
takes time to be used to it.

I think it is very good to have 3+bb/100 hand on NL400. Your vpip is close
to mine around 12.5%. I don't think there is anything wrong with playing
tight as long as villians still give you action. Due to your image of vpip,
i think controlling pot size is probably the best post flop when you have
over pair and top pair. The key to play a very strong range preflop to use its show down value. |

If you do not involve a hand in rush poker, you will not get any points.
If you just fold, and you are not in the blinds, you will get 0 points.
When I discover this, I get involved in a ton of pots. Fairly enough, my
holding is super weak also.
Only 75 points, if I play 3 table of NL25 in one hour.
