发帖数: 208 | 1 先说说现实里：我住在san francisco东南40miles的地方，而且我虽然开车开的凑合，
但是是个路痴，经常走错路。
在说梦里：我开到了San Francisco北面50,60miles的地方（高速上），想回家，
结果越来人越少，exit也月来越少.车道有5，6条，任我一个人开，沿路都是高山大何。
结果我才发现我已经离SF越来越远，突然一个路牌
提示我离Mountain Rushmore(4个老人头的雕像的那个国家公园，在south dakota州,
现实里我从没去过，但很想去）还有1500miles. 我试着找回家的路，结果开了不到
一个小时，我居然到了mountain rushmore, 我下了车，看到了雄伟的高山和4个老人头象
心里又高兴又郁闷.我醒了 |

。其中离开Mt Rushmore以后加满油，一口气六个钟头开了450mi, 油灯也亮了，终于赶
在午夜前到了hotel。

发帖数: 650 | 4 自从第一次住店的时候用了一个rest area发现得颇为不错的coupon
之后，我们就对发掘coupon产生了极大的兴趣。刚到South Dakota,
花朵找到了Mt. Rushmore附近一个溶洞的coupon， 本来也没打算去，
但也就放在车上了。快到总统山的时候，突然发现了一个岔路通向
Mt. Rushmore Cave，就兴冲冲的开过去了。
在入口处，花朵高兴的递上coupon之后，那个MM笑嘻嘻的说,“Oops,
wrong coupon". 我们才注意到coupon上的cave是mystery (or crystal?)
cave! 没想到这里的溶洞还蛮多的:(不过那个MM还是很nice的，随即
说到还是可以给我们一个折扣的。进到里面，听那个讲解员讲，mystery
cave是和这个通过无法让人通过的狭长甬道相连的--要是人能通过多好。
出来时买了几件小东西，花朵还嘀咕，“要是去那个溶洞，买东西还有
coupon呢。” |

发帖数: 571 | 8 由于还没去过HI，所以没办法评论那里的情况。西部旅游资源比起东部，以RAP-DEN-
ABQ一线划分，实在是不在一个数量级上。甚至很多西部SP的质量都在东部NP之上。很
遗憾自己住在东部，每次旅行，为了少请假和尽量利用时间，特别是回程时的
overnight flight真的挺痛苦的。
先说城市吧，西部城市最喜欢的是SAN，SFO次之，PDX，LAS，DEN印象也不错。最不喜
欢的是LAX，好大好大的农村啊。SLC也不喜欢，可能是太多化工厂让人看着不舒服吧。
由于西部旅游资源太丰富，很难一一列举，先说个人认为最好的10个NP吧
按地理顺序，自WA起，顺时针旋转，离开大陆后再去AK，没有排名先后的意思。
1. Mt Olympic--5分。温带绿林的奇景以及雨林深处的瀑布。而且交通便利，在这么靠
近西雅图的地方就有这样的世外桃源。
2.黄石和大提顿--5分。我算在一起了，公园连着，门票也一起算的。黄石入选还需要
解释吗？
3.Badlans和Mt Rushmore（这不是NP)--5分。我也算在一起了。没去过陕北的黄土高原
。Badlands给我的震撼比死谷要强烈的多。美国有不少壮观的自 |
