Public knowledge by now but AMD has a new HEDT platform coming out in a
couple of months
You'll see more of it at Computex I believe.
It's a 16 core /32 Thread, quad channel behemoth. And it is insanely quick
in the tests that Ryzen is already excelling at. So Cinebench, and all other

有点烦的是ryzen没集显，需要买个亮机卡，被动散热的gt710就行
一套下来600出头
嫌不够好就换成ryzen 1700，8核16线程，多100刀

一眨眼离上次搞Dell台式机已经两年多了。彼时长篇心得和一些实用经验总结在下面贴

两年间零零碎碎买了两百多个游戏，憧憬着今后能有时间一一通关.实际情况是研究游
戏相关的时间>买游戏安装游戏时间>打游戏时间。其间没有再折腾硬件，不过对游戏硬
件相关的热情丝毫不减。
两年多来家用游戏硬件的发展，包括牙膏厂的Skylake/Kaby Lake,农企的Ryzen和Fury/
Vega,老黄的Pascal,家用Console的Switch/XB1S/PS4Pro/XB1X，和一干VR的崛起等等.

如果Ryzen真有最近跑分显示的这么好，Vega也差不多的话，
看好AMD CPU GPU在中国热卖。
2个季度后股价上20，4个季度后股价上40不是梦。
比较担心的是，在2000-4000人民币这个价格，AMD还是打不过I3/I5。
要上Ryzen，需要上新的主板（好像价格还行），内存（这个价格偏高） |

1)
现在不可能大打价格战。
Ryzen的性能如果真有最近leak的这么好。
Intel性能不占优势，价格高很多，降价是必然。
2)
而且对未来的Naples的市场预期也是重大利好。
Ryzen性能好，说明Naples性能也值得期待。
AMD的目标是10%的server市场，如果Intel Server降价8%，
差不多性能的AMD server CPU是Intel价格的80%。那么对于datacenter来说，AMD
server CPU其实就是free的。从平衡intel的市场垄断角度出发，datacenter们肯定会
买AMD server CPU。
而且AMD今后还可以号称GPU/加速器和CPU融合得更好。 |

发帖数: 107 | 15 明天Ryzen就要release了，amd看起来势头强劲，intc和nvda都采取降价以避锋芒。
大规模第三方测评明天就可能陆续开始了。我自己装了好几台电脑，给笔记本换过cpu
，也装过高端游戏机，之前都是买的nvda和intc的。
我的几个担忧（根据我之前的一点经验）没有任何确实的消息依据：
1. AMD的多线程确实有些benchmark好看，但是玩起游戏来的performance就另说了。我
觉得所有发烧友心里还是对Amd不太放心，只能先持观望态度，或者希望amd给intc一个
刺激之后可以让intc降价。另外，一般来说玩游戏主要是拼显卡，cpu差不多就行了，
到底i7-7700k还是i7-6700k，我感觉区别不大。
2. 好像Ryzen的功耗只有65w，确实不错，但是对我而言功耗本质是就是散热，它测试
的时候到底是个什么环境，这个很难说，别最后performance上去了，温度也上去了，
gg。
3. Amd的cpu超频一直不好，感觉这个东西跟散热什么的都是联系着的。你这个基频测
试数据和intc的基频比可能不错，但是超频之后呢？

再往后怎么走就要看在人工智能这一块的发展了
这一块搞不过女大学生是正常的 干过了才不正常
野鸡预测一下AMD未来三年可能的三种情况
1）ryzen和Naples叫好不叫座 营收没有大的增长 股价会在十块出头上下大幅度徘徊
但是也不会跌回要破产的2块 这种可能性很大
2）ryzen和Naples抢下至少三分之一的市场 营收大涨 股价翻倍 再往后就很难再往上
大突破了 40-50左右是顶 cpu这一块不可能超过intc的 这种可能性也很大 不过出现
1）的风险也很大
3）有2）的前提下吃了春药 意外的在人工智能干翻了女大 直接上天到100 不过这种情
况很小很小
以上都是瞎扯的预测

看到大盘跌，AMD涨，没忍住，收盘卖了一些本周14.5call
如果本周收14.5以上，就算15卖掉了，好像也不错。
我想得很简单：
1.这个季度貌似不会有什么地雷。margin低已经被当过借口用了一次。持股风险不大。
2.但是也不会有啥惊喜吧？
2.1 RR还没出，EPYC Q3没有啥营收，就靠ryzen，rev不会太好吧？加上vega量上不去
（而且
赔钱赚吆喝？），勉强beat个20M? eps 10c顶天了？
2.2 q4 outlook靠啥撑起来？game console方面估计不会增长。ryzen恐怕还要下滑。
EPYC最多抢点低端server市场，2-3%了不起了（？）。高端市场intel护城河还是挖得
挺深的，不是说换个cpu就能用。
2.3 变数是有人会问tesla的合作事宜，可能是个$1左右的炸弹？
2.4 搞了这么久，rocm连tensorflow pytorch都不支持。

如果明年Ryzen 15%的提升是指IPC，那么很可能同频效率超越intel，但intel依然可以

多核低频还是不适合家用
除非自己搞点需要计算量的私活
不然单位的机器就搞定了
以前有些私活的想法
但是用满16核的时间还是少数
即使那些job
用频率效率都更高的ryzen 6/8核估计也慢不了多少
游戏等娱乐应用更不用说了
AMD的平台向来接口稳定
ryzen架构也相当给力
早点入教早日享受 |

otherwise I will go RYZEN 5 1600 + fanless 1030, maybe a little expensive
for HTPC, but it will be powerful enough many years. My experience is,
cheapest graphic card is fine, but don't saving money on CPU for HTPC, if
you want to keep it for 5-8 years, you just need to upgrade to another
graphic card 3-4 years later. |
