some group, which called Enigma.
I really like some of them though not able to tell what a
story it is telling.
However in the end of the music, someone is singing:

something like that, I always wish the music could never stop at that time. |

今晚惊见对面邻居草地上竖起一个牌子，明天Open House。怪不得，他家最近里里外外
装修整理，原来是卖房子前奏。一留意，发现连车都没了，应该已经搬走不住在这里了
。也不知道在附近换房，还是因工作搬迁外地了。连个招呼都没打上，我这个月也忙，
在家时间也少，有段时间还在中部出差。
很好的一对老美年轻夫妇，记得14年底，我搬来时，对方送了张卡片和自己制作的甜点
，很快过圣诞了，对方又送了一个圣诞小礼物，具体送什么也记不清了，也回了个礼物。
上Redfin看了他家房子，对方09年9月买的foreclosure，现在listing price比当年价
格涨了48%.前任房主06年买的价格比现在listing price还高。这几年房价变化真大，
像过山车一样。 |

"我的内心独白 我不是中国人，我是一个中国留学生， 现在已经回去母国越南工作。
我是一个离婚的越南姑娘， 家庭破碎后我得到了一分奖学金去中国留学。
在中国我喜欢看到中国人去超市买东西， 老公推车老婆选菜，真美。 晚上我经常
看到老人家手拉着手一起逛街，锻炼身体，一对一对在广场跳舞，很幸福，这样的在越
南你不会看到。
回到越南工作一段时间，有个中国朋友跟我说“你怎么还不结婚呢？我们中国有个
节目可以在那里找老公老婆，都是很优秀的人，你去登记吧”。也许这只是一个开玩笑
的话。我是越南的，我该不应该找一个中国人？

发帖数: 1987 | 15 今晚本來去工作室，熬通宵，趕東西。結果遇到了一個去年被這個系剔除的研究生，也
是國際學生，學校給了她2个學期的時間，申請到別的學校，或者甚麼的。本來我是做
東西，也不認識她，結果不知道怎麼回事，就開始聊天。然後我問她的情況。她突然開
始和我講她從頭到尾被這個系剔除的故事。就是學校政治鬥爭的犧牲品阿。細節我就是
不講了。反正就是一把鼻涕一把淚，然后她还有钱的问题，说当时连住的地方都没有了
，反正就是极其悲惨。哭的我都想哭了。我一邊安慰她，一邊做東西，最後完全做不下
去了，安慰了她将近2个小时。
就突然覺得，甚麼美國看能力阿，甚麼不看關係阿，全扯淡。甚麼規則阿，都TMD人定
的，誰權力最大，誰就是老大。她還和我講，本來這個系和她关系不错的同学，还有她
帮助过的，都不理她了，生怕和她扯上关系。都什么人啊，垃圾，全是垃圾。见人下菜
碟，势力，全都是势力眼！！！
我然後突然覺得sad，回家的路上，突然哭了起来，甚麼都不想做了。這姑娘的設計，
真的不差，大概就是不太會和教授搞好關係。可怜的，希望她能申请到更好的学校，或
者找到工作。希望她一切都能好起来。 |

中国人美国人都是人，人都是有共性的。
美国有很多关于职场，人际关系的书，不亚于中国的厚黑学。就当好玩翻一翻也不是没
有用处的。

谢谢你的信息，我还不知道有个人测试呢。我在看Dr. Norman E. Rosenthal（美国SAD
的鼻祖）的书，上面也说了要自己调整时间和距离，我这两天感觉还不错，就是第一天
有点受不了。
我原来也是早上起不来，生物钟严重滞后，白天浑浑噩噩，晚上没有困意，早上起不来
，起来了以后就头疼。
如果你想让自己起床，应该买那种带clock的，早上定时亮。如果你想自己爬起来了以
后不头疼，可以买普通的灯，自己坚持爬起来然后照灯。不用坚持多少天的，我用了2
，3天以后每天起床都很容易了，因为生物钟已经被调整了。
用了这个灯,我白天精力会旺盛很多，情绪也好很多，效率高了很多,做的事情也很多,
所以到了晚上11,12点就特别困,睡眠质量也得特别好.
我今天在日记里说了这样一句话(不是做广告哈):惊讶惊叹惊奇惊喜，10年过去了，我
居然被一盏日光灯照亮了心情。 |

发帖数: 993 | 21 我今天第一次使用，效果不错，我起床的心情更好了（可能是因为醒来以后不停地玩那
个灯的各种功能，很有意思）。但是因为我之前用了verilux的专门给SAD的灯，生物钟
已经被调整正常了，平时看书的时候我也开着verilux的灯（不管有没有太阳出来，睡
眠质量很好，所以，我看不出来这个wake up light到底有多有效。
我现在是拿我老公做实验，看看这个wake up light到底有没有用。今天的实验结果是
，有点用，至少他早上起来以后心情好多了，以前他都是嘟着嘴，特别痛苦地起床的（
因为难受，没有睡醒，不想起），今天起来的时候一直在微笑。我会继续观察的。 |

when I was youth, wuhan univ. was hard to enter top ten,although it is top one in wuhan.
when I enter wuhan univ, it rank 28 in 211, so sad about that.

新办个Form18６把step 2报上．上周给ECFMG去电话，回答是要求我把Credential认证
从头重新再办一遍，faint! 又给学校去电话，得到回答成绩单也要重新从头来一遍，
原则上还要本人回去办．去年为这两事特回了趟国，Faint again! 好事多磨，估计又
要多磨一年了．Sad！
这个周末都跟３个月的女儿在一起，Magic was happening. My mind came to peace
again.
别拍我有点＂自我安慰＂．相信宝妈宝爸们也有这种经历吧？ |

I am so sad after I took the NBME form 7 online. by end of Feb. I tood form
4 and got 420. however after one more month studying , the score dropped
to 410. even worse is that I felt that I made progress when I reviewed FA
and UW q banks. percentage of UW is improved a lot.
Where was wrong? help!

发帖数: 374 | 40 今天看到成绩了，太低了，不敢相信自己的眼睛，和自己估分查问太多了，连基本分都
没到，so sad。。。。。
看来是到离开的时候了，回头看看一路走来的艰辛，还有默默支持的家人孩子，还有一
起学习的同学，很多话想说，又不知道说什么。。。。。。。好难面对。。。。。
不得不承认，人是有差别的，牛人就是牛人，我也许真不适合这条路，好歹也试过了，
也死心了。
是该想想以后的人生路了，不知道有多少像我这样的老CMG，版上见到的都是成功的经
验，有没有大牛能指点一下失败以后的路，
在实验室厮混多年，实在没兴趣，眼看在千老的泥潭越陷越深，前途迷惘，像我这样的
土博，没有美国学位，研究背景不强的，不知道还有什么路可以走，可以离开research
，恳请指点! |

The other referee is extremely picky about systematics errors(he listed lots
of possibilities), and also
he pointed to lots of trivial details which he think I may make mistakes...
How could he expected us
to list all details when the paper has to be limited to 4 pages... He said
because we could never be
possible to make a very good control of systematic error so it should be
rejected.
