里程数目前100K多一点，
刚刚换过刹车，去年底换了四个轮胎。
主要是carfax记录上有2个事故，1999和2000年有两个撞车事故，但似乎从salvage上看
，没有大事故。今天去试驾了，刹车还不错，老爷车的感觉，车的内饰一般，前镜起雾.
打开前盖，感觉电瓶是换过的，似乎有个用于发动机通风的管子也是换过的吧，我不懂，
第二个owner买了一年，之前有mechanich修过卖给她的。她都不知道之前出过事故。
大家给给意见，我就是用一年，明年还想卖掉。

给收废车的修车厂翻修（相当于refurbish）的车挂的title
车被偷了，然后保险公司全额赔款，后来车子又找到了，就还给保险公司，保险公司卖
掉后变成salvagetitle，那人这么说估计是和那种严重车祸total掉的车区别开，但是
你不清楚到底是为啥变成salvage title的，有这种title的车车最好别买，除非非常便
宜，比如很新的车卖个2000-3000左右 |

司综合考虑选择不修理，然后低价拍卖掉，拍到的dealer如果懂车完全可以修到外观完
全看不出有事故，如果事故后修好又开了一段时间，通常是没有问题的，美国salvage
title的车多了去了，楼主完全不用太自责 |

title）。应该是一次事故的一连串反应吧。说错了，请懂行的人指正。
Salvage title的车不一定很坏，rebuilt过的车也可能会继续跑很久。这两种情况我身
边都有朋友的例子。楼主开车好好注意，也注意保养，不一定就那么坏。

发帖数: 16592 | 46 我当学生时候，买了一个GEO prizm，5年的车对方要3000块，一般会要3500，就是左边
门有个不太明显的坑，一看是个小事故造成的，不严重，不修不影响开。所以觉得挺合
算的。当时也不懂啥Carfax，开出去跑了跑，觉得还成就买了。开了几年，没啥毛病，
长途（FL-IN,FL-NC, FL-TN, IN-MN来回）也开过许多次，里程从买来的4万多开到8万
多。
毕业找到工作准备卖换部车，结果，对方一查说我的车问题很大，是salvage title啥
的，还把carfax发给我。其实人家定金都交了，我赶紧退回给人家，之前我自己也不知
道。然后就不好意思卖了，又开了2年，开上10万了，还是没有问题，可是我实在不想
再开这个车了，和同事出去吃饭啥的很突出，就600块钱卖给修车的了。
我那个车除了salvage title，也是rollback的里程，好像还是rebuilt的engine，还被
flood过，反正carfax惨不忍睹，不过开了那么多年（5年多），几乎没花钱维修过。我
觉得纸面上的那些可以参考，不过不见得真的一定就那么坏。 |

对方保险公司终于给出估价了
车是2010 ford focus
保险公司offer的价格是低于Edmunds上的dealer resell价格$800,高于private party
$500，请问这个价格合理么？有argue的余地么?
另外，在这个基础上，保险公司要扣掉$500，叫Less Salvage，意思是车被total但还
值些钱，我可以拿去卖掉。保险公司不想处理。但是现在车在junk yard，估计取车的
话还要交存车费，车不能开要了我也没用。这个Less Salvage可以和保险公司谈么？
另外一个问题，如果同意和保险公司settle了，旧车不用管了吧？还要把车牌还给DMV
么（都已损坏）？旧车title怎么办？

发帖数: 1 | 50 最近想买车，可是手里没多少现金，经朋友介绍找到一个准备卖车的。车是97年Nissan
Sentra,14.7K Miles,要价$1500。车子目前状况如下：
1. 车体：引擎盖有很多的锈斑，其它地方没有凹痕，没有明显划痕。
2. 去年7月新换的电瓶。
3. 有两个新轮胎，两个7成新轮胎。
4. 空调制冷一般，空调风扇只在最大一档工作，其它当不吹风。
5. 车偶尔一次打不着火，但是基本第二次就能打着火。
6. 防盗器有问题，锁车后会不停的报警，现在将报警喇叭的电路关闭了。
查了车的历史，基本没有什么大问题，具体如下：
