来美的四年多，去了26个国家公园。本来不会贴图，打算放弃参加这次活动了，但是
Gforce的帖子又激起了我那份对national park的热情。所以我也想来分享一下这些年
看到的美丽的自然风光。另外，对于hiking trail比较多的NP，我也会放一些自己推荐
的Trail，希望能对大家有所帮助。
先来一张NPS地图，图中标出了所有58个NP，其中蓝色钉的是去过的26了，红色钉的是
剩下的32个，也就是近两年的目标啦。
1. Crater Lake National Park (Oregon)

上学到很多东西，写出来做点贡献
准备篇:
一行五人(婆婆,LG和我,加LG姐姐姐夫)10天9夜的旅行还是准备了很久的,之前的几个周
末都在做这个,主要是定机票,酒店,和安排行程.我们要玩3个岛,时间还是很紧的.因为
人多,酒店不是很好定,在expedia 和tripadvisor上看的，几乎都是condo型的，住的还
比较舒服的。tripadvisor上可以选是hotel还是rental，很方便。行程都是看了版上的
精华区安排的。我们的蓝宝书买晚了，临走才收到，建议早点买书安排行程，还是很有
用的。

标 题: 七色花的奇异国度(5)企鹅和小鸟

去新西兰旅游很主要就是想看野生的企鹅，不是动物园里的，企鹅只在南半球，所以有
企鹅的国家也就是五六个。不过深入研究之后发现，新西兰绝非只有企鹅，而是有很多
特别的动物，新西兰旅游局推广的就有号称五小天王（Small Five）。
其中的主角当然是企鹅，我们的旅行几乎就是围绕着追寻企鹅，五小天王的头牌就是黄
眼企鹅。
在南岛的西岸我们很快就发现了这样的标志。企鹅居然要过往人群千万小心，难道是是
什么可怕的猛兽？当然，其实是新西兰人很注意保护企鹅。
不过我们第一个遇到的企鹅反而不是黄眼，而是更为珍惜的凤冠企鹅。
看过冲浪企鹅呢没？ 主角科迪，冲浪肥猫最喜欢冲浪企鹅了，大家都冲浪嘛，冲浪企

发帖数: 989 | 9 几年前就想去波浪谷看看(感谢hellocc同学提供了不少有关wave的信息)，但一直没有
机会，几个月前终于搞到一张wave的permit, 甚是欣喜，同时也好久没出去逛逛了，于
是圣诞节计划了5天时间转一转，首要目的是wave, 剩下的时间安排了其它自己感兴趣
的地方。可惜事与愿违，在去wave的前一天，在另一个地方hiking的时候，不小心摔倒
把脚扭了，肿的很厉害，走路艰难，借用左脚与车的cruise control才好不容易开车回
page, 休息一晚，第二天稍好一些但仍然很疼，去wave是不可能的了，下午一瘸一拐去
了一趟马蹄湾。又休息一晚，天亮开往Las Vegas,途经coral pink sand dunes state
park 和 valley of fire state park。
想想这么一个难得的去wave的机会就这样浪费掉了，实在让人懊恼不已，这是我一次失
败的旅行，教训是野外hiking尽量要小心，不要太赶时间，减少受伤的机会。

己的话说texas is a country within a country. 在过去的500多年的时间里，这片土
地曾经是法国，西班牙以及墨西哥的殖民地，而在经历了一系列的战争，独立和投票以
后，终于在1845年，德州成为了美国领土的一部分. 这里拥有着丰富的石油资源，也是
2千6百多万人的家.
自从8月份搬到德州以后，就被德州的夏天天天过百的温度弄得有些头大。labor day
wkend闲着无聊，跑到离家不远的state park hiking, 因为水没带足或者低估了德州的
夏天，差点没热出个好歹. 而且有点悲剧的是德州的国家公园都在德州的西边，开车
过去来回怎么也要1000来mi, 1个周末甚至一个3 days wkend都会很赶。盼星星盼月亮
，在12月份的月底，借着christmas和自己的假期，凑足了1个星期，终于可以去看看期
盼已久的texas&new mexico national park! :-)

先介绍个大岛游的非常有用的攻略网站

上面这个网站几乎涵盖了大岛上所有值得去的地方，方便提前计划预定tour啥的

这个是个中文游记，最有用的就是那个地图，中英文都有，方便查询
携带的必需品：厚外套，防晒，防虫，浮浅装备可以在当地租或者买，近视眼的
prescription mask当地也能租到，不过要想适合自己的度数，可以提前买套

下午到达kona，一出机场瞬间觉得国内县城机场都肯定比这高大上，lol
租车后直接杀到costco采购一下，水，防水相机，一些水果等
costco是本地油价最低的，便宜30-60分。同时有很多夏威夷特产卖，咖啡就有三个100
% hawaii品种，还有一些当地的糕点cookie啥的，虽然偶没有把所有购买土特产的地方
走遍，但是costco绝对是放心满意价格适宜的地方。同时有新鲜的生鱼片卖，20多块很
大一盒，比其他地方的costco可是强多了。

here's the story. I droped this bady the other morning and it hit the strap
button of another guitar. The back of neck was dented quite heavily.

白天LV 对远处的山.
说要SAND SPACER 真奇怪. MD FLANGE DISTANCE 43.5, EF 44.0. MOUNT 厚度可以多出
0.5MM.
拿掉的原MOUNT 厚1.05 到1.10MM, 换上去的M42/Ef ADAPTER 厚1.40MM, 多了0.3到0.
35MM 还要SHIM. 不懂为啥要SAND. |

我觉得这几个都比大烟山好吧。。。其实偏僻地方的一些national forest, state
park也比东部的好,Shenandoah能选成国家公园完全是政治因素，因为东部实在没地方
了。反观Great Sand Dunes，这么好的地方，也是最近才升级成国家公园。 white
sands到现在也只是个National Monument可能是风太太单调。page AZ附近风景世界闻
名，但是是保留地，也没发弄成国家公园，还是政治因素。马蹄湾连个收票亭都建不起来

时候弃养。
2 co推荐pet plan。另外，严格indoor的不需要疫苗。
3 木地板要看你地板的质量。好的受损不是很严重，另外等你到卖的时候估计会需要
sand一遍anyways，不论是否有猫，人也会留印子嘛。屋子的味道，卖的时候开窗通风
就行了，自己的味道，fresh paint的味道，都不会比猫大。狗确实有味道，而且对房
子伤害大很多。跟我们家狗比起来，我们家猫简直是天使。实木地板可以sand很多次，
即使是floating的，也起码可以sand三次。
4 有cat sitter每一天或者几天来你家看看。我一般就是请同学同事邻居。2周可能够
呛，但是准备很多猫沙盆，很多水盆，很多粮食，处理好电源等问题，三四天是完全没

沙漠里最另左使神往的，第一是塔克拉玛干沙漠里的敦煌莫高窟，第二是撒哈拉沙漠里
的埃及。
神往了那么久，终于在2008年年底从湾区出发辗转24小时到达埃及，游历十来天后却因
为工作不得不放弃沙漠之行提早回来。555
凌晨在清冷的开罗机场独自等待的时候，desert rose徘徊萦绕，Cheb Mami高亢悠扬的

饼推开。我连忙说“no pushing”，一边手疾眼快的把饼捞了出来。四处打量了一下，
小孩儿的妈妈没在附近。小男孩儿拿桶接水，接完了倒掉，再接再倒，我就跟饼在旁边
看着。终于他不再玩了，从水龙头边上走开了。饼兴高采烈的走上前。小男孩儿转过身
，又要把饼推开。我怒了。一边扶住饼，一边跟小孩儿说，"your turn is finished,
now it's his turn"。小孩儿貌似被我镇住了，不说话，讪讪的站在旁边。我又觉得自
己有点太凶了，跟他说，"you can go play sand. when you come back he will be
done."他想了一下，自言自语地说“sand, sand"，往沙坑走去了。
后来看到他妈妈了，问她小孩儿是不是两岁半，她说是。
不知道饼两岁半的时候会什么样子。。。。。。今天这么一下子我都觉得自己要血压高
