类似的经历，可能是机器给挪动了，SATA的擦口松了而已。SATA的擦口比IDE的好擦一
些，但缺点是更容易松动了，除非一开始就是坏的不能用，一旦插上能用，它再变坏简
直太不可能。。。 |

re are two things you need to do:
1. change your bios setting about hard drive, so that your sata hard drive i
s recognized.
2. make sure your xp installation CD has SP2 package. If not, you need to sl
ip strem SP2 package into it (please google).
