其实第一个原因还更主导一些。
另外，有众多类似对手互相拉练的拉锯战争也是科技的催化剂。所以春秋战国是中华文
明的轴心时代。多少科学家是法国炮兵学校训练出来的。
毕升之后，中国的文人统治阶层（江南人）完全不适应战争。所以胜利者总是胜利地太
快太轻易。全是没死几个人，就胜利了。好比满清征服全中国，没死几个人。死的还都
是在和蒙古的战争中（雍正说的）。
因此，催化剂没法发挥作用。甚至战争之后，科技大退步（比如清朝代替明朝，又以骑
射为本），胜利者觉得失败者的科技完全无用。其实不是科技无用，而是掌握科技的人
太没用。
看欧洲人打成什么样，经历了三百年和平的大清，在鸦片战争不败才没有天理。大清的
军队是酒囊饭袋，英军是身经百战。

看了Bayberry Hill和Sovereign & Saxony, 前面那个全都是负面评价, 后面这个据说
management office的人去网上刷好评.
大家知道在Holliston工作的话住哪好吗? LD在Burlington那边上班. 想住两个地方中
间的样子. 不知道大家有没有推荐.
一个月之内就要搬家了, 头疼啊.
然后问一下大家, 这里break lease, 要求交房租到找到下家为止, 一般要多久能租出
一个apt啊?
要是一直租不出去我们就得一直给交着钱? 可以自己帮landlord找sublease之类的吗?

这是第二次去德国，目的地是汉诺威（Hannover），貌似很无趣的一个地方。
那里离德国首都柏林（Berlin）很近，坐火车去不到两个小时，应该很不错。
不过时间不多，就不乱折腾了，以后有空度假再说。
德国签证直接去波士顿（Boston）的领事馆，上次去一趟就办好了，这次去跑了三趟。
第一趟（2011年06月15日）告知要提前网上预约，而且排期都一个月以后了。
根本来不及，不过以出公差为理由还是给塞了个空。
第二趟（2011年06月17日）就是交材料了，然后不能当时取。
第三趟（2001年06月21日）也就是出发当天的早上，才把签证取了回来。
不过这次签证给了半年多次往返的，还不错。
办签证的医疗保险还是在 insuremytrip.com 买的。
2011年06月14日买的，6天才6.12美元。

早上去德国领事馆把签证取了。
上一天班。
下午去机场。
在 O'Brian's 买了些辣鸡翅吃。
然后波士顿经法兰克福（Frankfurt）飞汉诺威。

如果大家有兴趣看德国东部的Google Earth的遥感图像，可能会在大片绿色中发现几个规
则几何形状的灰白地区，每个大约有几十平方公里大小。
但是如果从地图转到地面上面看，就会发现这些几何形状多么具有震撼力。
这里就是位于德国、波兰、捷克三角地带的所谓Black Triangle地区，世界著名的煤矿产

这是第二次去德国，目的地是汉诺威（Hannover），貌似很无趣的一个地方。
那里离德国首都柏林（Berlin）很近，坐火车去不到两个小时，应该很不错。
不过时间不多，就不乱折腾了，以后有空度假再说。
德国签证直接去波士顿（Boston）的领事馆，上次去一趟就办好了，这次去跑了三趟。
第一趟（2011年06月15日）告知要提前网上预约，而且排期都一个月以后了。
根本来不及，不过以出公差为理由还是给塞了个空。
第二趟（2011年06月17日）就是交材料了，然后不能当时取。
第三趟（2001年06月21日）也就是出发当天的早上，才把签证取了回来。
不过这次签证给了半年多次往返的，还不错。
办签证的医疗保险还是在 insuremytrip.com 买的。
2011年06月14日买的，6天才6.12美元。
