是些许的“不幸中的万幸”，因为除了凶手之外，没有受害者身亡。伤者中地位最高的
是共和党众院三号人物，党鞭Steve Scalise，据现场报道，他在胯部中枪后一瘸一拐
地把自己挪到了隐蔽位置，很快被送医急救，应该问题不大。但是随后消息传来，党鞭
因失血过多内脏受损而生命垂危，现在已经面临第三次手术。人们陷入了常识给自己制
造的困惑，皮糙肉厚的屁股上挨一枪，怎会如此严重甚至伤及内脏？阿甘在越战中屁股
中弹后还奋不顾身救了好几个战友呢。
这个想不到来自于一般人对本次案件的凶器，著名的半自动高速狙击步枪AR-15威力的
认识不足。这种武器的精华所在是它子弹的设计：尖如针头，重量仅四克。当子弹以超
过三倍音速的速度旋入肉体之后，会以曲线前进，上下翻腾，在巨大的冲力和阻力撕裂
之下炸成碎片。在今天Scalise伤情记者会上，医生报道子弹从他一边胯部进入穿进另
一侧，小小子弹炸成一百多片，已经没有全部取出的可能。这些弹片进一步又在高速中
切削骨骼，韧带和血管，并进入腹部，造成大出血，这也是党鞭目前主要的生命危险。

McCarthy目前为止的姿态是强硬反对大赦，但是他的选区拉丁裔比例很高，
而且是农业区，依赖于老莫劳动力，所以被认为态度可能会软化。
Scalise反对大赦但态度不如McCarthy强硬。
他还支持取消非法移民子女的出生公民权。
可惜Boehner辞职太晚。
如果他早一年多辞职，接替他的很可能是原多数党领袖Eric Cantor。

封面照，6块腹肌。他还介绍他的健身routine.
