, you can almost never go wrong with the two most popular modles: La
Sportiva Trango S Evo and Scarpa Charmoz as long as they fit. These two are
almost the same weight, warmth, and price. If you want a little more warmth
and stiffness, consider La Sportiva Glacier and Scarpa Summit. If you want
to go even higher on the line without plastic, La Sportiva Makalu and Nepal
are the way to go. I haven't done much research on |

or backcountrygear that has Scarpa thunder on sale and they have your size.
Actually I am considering resoleing my Scarpa thunder. It's not really that
bad after all. My ols 5.10 spire is about to retire after this season, I

La Sportiva: Batura Evo, Spantik, Baruntse

我还是很欣赏宜家的民主设计。真正通过成本控制让好设计进了更多家门。

前段日子关于家居的文字，没想到得到这么大反响和喜欢，本是写给自己的东西，算个
记事本一样。看来很多人对家有期待，家是居心地，我习惯用中村好文在《住宅读本》
中的这个词形容家，而不是Le Corbusier所陈述的“住宅是居住的机器”。法国哲学家
Bachelard在《空间的诗学》有句话说“屋顶合围的空间，孕育着梦，隐匿着做梦的人
”。所以家是暧昧的，安全的，窝心的，值得托付的，也更是值得重视的。所以今天闲

之前在国内的时候是个hiking狂热分子，基本每周都会出行。看到muyang之前的帖子有
提到 backpacking装备的问题，这里和大家分享一下自己的看法：
我们先不妨看看想部队里的野战军人，拉练时每天行军40余里，仔细想想他们的装备无
非就是一双解放鞋，一身军装，一根背包带，一床军备，但却走的气宇轩昂。举这个例
子并不是说装备不重要，而是强调在 backpacking（或者说任何outdoor项目）的重点
在人，而不是装备。完全依赖装备，以为穿上一身户外装备就从此脱胎换骨的想法是大
错特错，甚至是危险的。既然人是主体，那么为什么在这对装备还多费口舌？在我的理
解看来，装备是为了帮助人更安全，更容易，更舒服的抵达目的。同样是装备徒步40
公里，用背包带的话，肩膀会勒出血痕，选择有背负系统的登山包就可以免受其苦；解
放鞋徒步肯定没问题，但舒适度，对脚踝的保护一定不如专业登山鞋。大意就是，我们
不怕吃苦，但别自找苦吃。
言归正传，backpacking最重要的装备我觉得有两个一个是鞋，一个是包。

价格不等，得看你对hiking 要求怎么样了。如果经常出去强度很大的，动不动
backpacking 什么的找个高端的还是必要的，如果只是想随便走走，差不多就行，我的
事hi-tech的， 便宜。

器材:
ski: G3 Reverend
Binding: BD Fritschi freeride+
Boots: Scarpa Tornado
Skin: BD Ascension Nylon STS 110mm
过程:
昨晚开车到Mt. Hood timberline lodge, 在车里睡觉,早晨3点起, 3:40从trail head
(5900ft)出发, 刚开始不知道雪况, 所以背着ski走(backpack 24lbs, ski 12lbs,
boots 8lbs, 好在boots可以直接穿在脚上,减了一些重量), 走了10分钟之后,感觉雪很
软, 踩进去基本上到小腿, 山上温度很高, 吹的风都是热的, 决定skin up, 穿着
ski 爬坡. 刚开始的2500 ft, skin hold的很好, 基本不用担心滑退, 从8500ft之后,
坡开始变陡, 大概有25度以上, 这时候每走一步都要小心, 有可能会向后滑. 到了
9500ft之后, 坡度已经到了35度, skin勉强可以hold住, 中间有两次滑落, 好在我 |

guys I know of switch from Inverno to other brands. Thus I guess they can't
be the best plastic boots. BTW, it depends what you do in them too. Those
guys mostly do ice climbing (one day, multi-day). |

crampon wise, REI dosen't have much choice and I don't like any of them. In
general I don't like steel crampons for general mountaieering.
BD raven or raven pro is pretty much the standard gear among climbers. you
can't go worng with it. although I am using my other CAMP ax more often |

you buy light weight Tele boots they are less expensive. Some tele boots are
just as heavy as light weight touring boots ie: Scarpa. Either Tele or AT
can be cheap if you look for deals in the summer.

big concern is the flexibility when climbing rather than downhill
performance. I finally settled with a pair with low cuffs because they give
me a lot ankle flex. Scarpa tends to have high and small cuffs. After
getting the boots, you should also do a custom fitting at a local shop.
Freeride Plus is heavier and has a higher profile. It took me some time to
get used to it since I had been skiing with non lifting bindings fo |

on the slope this past weekend, skinned up 4500 ft and skied down. other
than one hot spot, they feel really great, much better than my other pair
which is scarpa tornado in that they tend to accomodate my wide feet and
thick calf better. I didn't even have to take the spoiler out. I'll do a
thermo fit probably after a couple of more runs to get a more precise
feeling. Downhill performance might not be as good as some boo |

and spring. I would not wear them if the approach is long. I do not
recommend backpacking boots on snow even if it's not technical. Lightweight
mountaineering boots (e.g. La Sportiva Trango S Evo, Scarpa Charmoz, Kayland
Apex, etc) work a lot better. They are stiffer than backpacking boots and
have better traction and keep your feet drier and warmer.

buy. Unlike alpine downhill boots, you are going to use AT boots for
climbing as well. Fitting is more important. You don't want to get hot spots
after a hour of climb. Flexibility is another factor you need to think
about. I used to use scarpa spirit 3 (three buckles). They didn't fit me at
all. Everytime I used them, it was a torture. Eventally, I decided to get a
new pair since last spring. I am using Garmot Mega Ride |

board lasted），鞋型较宽(very comfortable)，耐磨(5mm vibram xs grip)，便宜，
