appitizer
点了一个Seared RARE ahi tuma， 就是鱼生，不过外面一层sear了一下，赞！100分！
主菜俺是mixed shellfish newburg，用的sherry lobster sauce 和西班牙green
sauce的mix， 鲜甜入口，配以不知名的蔬菜（介于蕨菜和西兰花之间的一种菜）和
long rice，超强的感觉。打95分。
ld是 baked atlantic cod，入口翠，然后中间鱼肉的细腻和芳香散发的很慢。虽然没
有加任何佐料，不过让人回味起来有一种味蕾的悸动。配以梅汁炮制的糯米饭和
shredded的西红柿和洋蓟，恰到好处，可打90分。
味道值得
虽然分量不是太多，不过两人吃饱没问题。
结帐时直接把打印的cert放在gc一起，no question asked。
服务态度好，环境幽雅，饭店里面摆放的鲜花。
小费给了18% 心情好。

。今晚可鬼了，居然有五六桌的亚裔食客，非常不寻常！应该是出来过父亲节的吧？我
觉得都是华人，至少其中一位年轻妈妈说上海话。
不知为何平常见不到华人，过父亲节却都出来了。
赞一下今晚看到的几位年轻女性，都有花点心思打扮过的，大概是因为过节吧？反正比

很适合朋友聚餐，好吃，人均20以内，风格很像中国大排档，当然他们做的卫生状况和
中国排档还是有很大差别的，竞争还有个CAMERA对着切肉的地方。很有意思。

环境非常美，在一个AUSTIN西边的一个山上，山旁边有一个湖，好像叫什么Lake
Travis，不是朋友带我一起去，我怎么也想不到AUSTIN还有这么个好地方。

McCormick & Schmick's Seafood--- I love there, food is so good. I love the

La Chaumière—Never had, but heard it is good
Smith and Wollensky Steakhouse( on my top list);Fleming's Prime Steakhouse &
Wine Bar; Ruth's Chris Steak House (old fashion restaurant)---- prime steak
, top of my list. I have not had good steak for long time.

正大广场了。
周五晚上，说说VA这边最喜欢的饭店吧。
最爱的肯定是Reston Town Center了。从Hyatt那头开始说吧。
1. Market Street Grill：Hyatt里头的饭店，环境不错，服务生都抢着给你拿衣服那
种。推荐它的几个appetizer，tuna，crab cake，jumbo shrimp这几个都很惊艳。它的
BLT超级大呀。主菜老公最爱它的Prime Rib。
2. M&S Grill: 喜欢里面的装修，落地玻璃，推荐它的seafood salad，steak salad，
反正salad都很好，它的T-bone很实在，一般吃不完，crab cakes不错，seafood
platter一般，不推荐，甜点creme brulee很好吃。另外，这家下午happy hour，很多
appetizer很便宜，steamed mussels只要4刀。
3. Clydes：最好的是夏天时候坐在外面，正好在那个音乐广场旁边，吃什么心情都具

说说VA这边最喜欢的饭店吧。
最爱的肯定是Reston Town Center了。从Hyatt那头开始说吧。

衣：重点要防水。
即使是7月底，气候变化还是很大。早晚冷时吐气成霜，下午热时大汗淋漓，而且时不
时会来一阵小雨。幸亏带了件Helly Hansen Anchorage Jacket，派上了大用场。有天
雨中在Denali Wonder Lake 附近的McKinley Trail hike 了几个小时，裤子全湿透，
上身脱了jacket丝毫未湿，赞一个。注意jacket的hood非常重要，头淋湿了最不爽。
睡袋最好用Synthetic的， Down易湿。
食：民以食为天吗，想玩好，一定要吃好:-)
这次在阿拉斯加全程camping, 住宿上花费极少，钱全花在吃上了。基本上每到一地就
找名气最大的餐馆点最喜欢的菜吃，回来被同事笑话“Live like a hippie, eat like
a yuppie”。阿拉斯加的海鲜实在是赞！哥这十几年在南加北加各大海滨城市都生活
工作学习过，好吃的没少吃，但和阿拉斯加一比，差距还是不小的。回加州后有天馋虫
上脑去家门口的McCormick & Schmick's点了Halibut， 和在阿拉斯加吃的Halibut比感
