wisely.When you can't fight back or the benefits of fighting back outweigh
the costs, just move on and make better use of your time.

问题一
网站上说：We cannot take responsibility for the possibility of scooping by
competitors. 也就是即使是Natue Precedings 已经登出来了，别人依然可以发表类似
的结果？也就是说Nature Precedings并不给保证首创性吗？
为题二
虽然网站上说在Nature Precedings上“发表”不影响将结果发在Naturw系列的任何杂
志。但是，不知道别的杂志的态度。有在Nature Precedings上登了后有发Science的吗？

了，而且SciRep是open-access，能见度高。不过我觉得SciRep门槛有点低，官网上说
“Scientific Reports publishes original articles on the basis that they are
technically sound, and papers are peer reviewed on this criterion alone. The
importance of an article is determined by its readership after publication.”
感觉只要是technically sound的就能发。
SciRep主要优点是审稿快，但我们做的比较冷门，没什么被scooped的担心。所以我想
投Nano Letters，觉得对我以后毕业找工作帮助大点。想请教下各位faculty老师的意

际影响的必经之路。有些国内的科学家，实验做得很漂亮，但常常苦恼于论文的写作力

我很少在项目开始或做一半时审请房顶（除非是特殊的房顶），我也不Hold我的文章，
因为我们领域竞争很激烈,hold在那儿就可能被scoop了。
我总是在投manuscript的同时投一个用这个项目写的grant.大段大段的都可以直接copy
.我会把相当部分文章里的data hold住，还有相当预计 manuscript reviewer会问的问
题，把它们一起写成我们要做的。我们的文章总是 aiming very high,总是从最好的杂
志一个一个试，即使某个杂志的编辑答应送出去，那些reviewer也会把我们整个死去活
来。所以从刚开始投到最后发在某个杂志得花上大半年到一年多的时间，所以一般
grant reviewer在审我的 grant时，相应的文章不会发出来。如果我的grant funded,
不久后相应的文章也发了，在annual report里我就说，我们做得太快了，计划几年的
事我们一年就做完了，并有文章为证，同时我们又发现新的相关的方向，我们以后准备
做新的东西。

不要把你真正的proposal放在申请里，
（1）真正的proposal太详细太长，同时也太窄，你不想让别人认为你只做这个；
（2）你不担心有些人会把你放在申请里的proposal的idea给scoop么？

editor建议我们transfer到NCB，邮件说已经和NCB的editor联系好了，会给我们deep
review。以前我们实验室有投cell metabolism的经历，接受一次，据一次，感觉整个
过程还是比较快的。而且我们是lipid领域的小lab，所以计划改稿件投cell
metabolism，已经差不多好了。
今天NCB的editor来信催我们transfer，这样搞得我们又犹豫是不是投NCB。我们就怕
NCB折磨人，拖，我们的实验相对简单，重在novelty，就怕scoop了。我们估计如果投
cell metabolism，90%会审稿。
请问大家应该先投哪家好？ 谢谢！
另外如果投NCB，western blotting data需要原图，是投稿时还是接受后补上？还有其
它哪些data需要原始数据吗？ |

the main concerns are 1) have you used ideas that are originated from the
lab/advisor (even remotely)? 2) are there any other postdoc/student working
along the same line that you may potentially scoop their papers? and 3) are
you 100% sure you are using your own resources/personal time for this work?
if you are not sure about any of the above, it warrants a discussion
on the other hand, a discussion does not mean you won't be able to publish -

对啊!还有奇异果生熟问题啊~mm真细心 :)
因为我通常一并把好几个奇异果切好，然後scoop, 一份果肉拿去做腌料，其他的就当
餐後水果，所以通常是用熟的。
我这边有卖一种New Zealand产的，whole foods跟附近local 超市有卖，label带点青
色，质素平均。买回来，室温下放着不用等很多天也快熟了。如果在没选择的情况下，
买到非常硬的，我试过放在米桶，或跟苹果和其他水果放在一块，觉得还行。
用新鲜水果～健康啊～做腌料同时又可一块准备好餐後水果吃，觉得挺不错。 |
