制作单位将黄蜂和3万只欧洲蜜蜂之间长达3小时的战役，浓缩成这段名为「地狱黄蜂」
（Hornets From Hell）的短片。《每日邮报》指出，由于两种蜂类一向没有接触，蜜
蜂面对这场突如其来的侵略，显得无力招架。
影片显示，日本黄蜂飞抵蜂巢后先攻击落单的蜜蜂，咬掉他们的头部、翅膀和足部，将

Zion最著名的两条trails, 一是the Narrows, 二是the West Rim Trail & the Angele
's Landing.
Narrows我们走最简单的由河流下游向上游方向，走到Orderville Canyon往返约5
miles, 到Big Spring往返约10 miles. Big Spring往上需要申请permit了，我们最远
就此打住。因为是原路返回，所以视大家当天的心情想走多远走多远，不需要一定走到
最远。
the West Rim Trail & the Angele's Landing是从山顶走到山脚，基本上大部分时候
是下坡路，偶尔有小上坡。在大约12miles左右的地方到达Scout's Lookout, 这里往上
爬500ft就是the Angele's Landing. 爬完the Angele's Landing回到Scout's Lookout
大约2.5miles下山路到山脚trailhead.

一找到食物就会把它的蚂蚁兵团全带来当搬运工。 我们问过 terminator (不是
Arnold Schwarzenegger 那一位)， 蚂蚁进入房子除了找东西吃也是找水喝。
我们夏天时蚂蚁比较多， 因为外面土质乾燥。 这里波特兰冬天都下雨。 蚂蚁都不会
想进来躲雨。 夏天有一次一大堆蚂蚁兵团进攻我们家吃猫咪食物。 我们用了醋加水

Pass, Butterfly and Scout Lake. 路边的小湖 Pass, Butterfly 是最好的钓鱼的湖
，但是可能这个季节鱼相对较少，因为一个夏天被钓个差不多了，要看看鱼情，不行就
换个湖。Mirror lake 因为比较大，不会被钓光，但是相对难钓一些。那些不靠路边的
湖里鱼会多很多，因为去的人少，但是要走点路， Scout lake 是比较近的。要是山顶
上那些湖，比如图上右上角的McPheters 和 Ryder Lake，要爬山8-9 miles 才能到，但是景
色极美而且鱼多的数不清，他曾一天在那里钓过100多条鱼！
另外图中蓝圈那个山头是个很好又很容易的Hiking 选择, 上去后可以一览群山。（注

sox对indians的时候，scouts汇报说upton打fastball总要慢半秒，结果没想到那天刮
大风，beckett的一个fastball就被homer了，把beckett气疯了。

雷胖为啥高呼oh yes，自己队想要的球员被截胡了还那么高兴？ 因为他知道，如果这
四个WR都选不到的话，他们的第一票必将选他想要的防守队员， 那是当时the best
player on the board。

，主力打至少半场。对一票难买的绿湾来说，也是个很难得的参观兰堡的机会。对边缘
球员来说，夸张点就是卖汽车和买豪宅的区别。也许一生的梦想就在这一两场球的表现
了。
不少绿湾球迷已经周四周五请假在家看选秀。尽管一轮秀周四晚上7/8点才开始。但是
他们都是从白天就开始看电视，youtube上scout的clips，俨然一副GM的样子，非常的
投入。这帮人居然能分析预测到第7轮会选谁。这得要scout多少球员，做多少研究。跟
老外比，自己毕竟从来没打过这个球，一切理解都是纸上学来的。人家小时不仅亲身打
过，而且大了还做小孩的业余教练。对这个运动的理解和热爱的程度，我是没法达到的
，甚至连很多的common senses都没有。 |

话题.
一般人对所谓money ball的了解, 可能主要是从Brad Pitt的那部电影和Michael Lewis
的原著里面.
而Paul DePodesta就是Jonah Hill在电影里的那个角色.
这部电影和大部分好莱坞所谓"based on true story"的东西一样, 离true story肯定
是差了十万八千里的.
而Michale Lewis的原著, 我个人对里面的一些说法也不是很信服.
无论是原著还是电影, 都提到两个人, Bradford和Hatteberg, 据说这两个人都属于在
MLB里找不到工作的那种, 能进入Oakland A's的Roster, 依靠的就是"money ball"的
数据分析方法.
原著和电影都把A's在2002年的表现, 在很大程度上归结于Billy Bean和Paul
DePodesta没有follow traditional wisdom, 而是基于"money ball"的数据分析方法,

人以外，还有什么可吹的？不仅是哄滚轮，唐僧，师奶德这几个关键人物，每人都带来
了下面一批从高层到scout的各个层次的人员，以及大量球员scout的报告。绿湾前几年
选秀质量大降，最近才慢慢恢复过来。反过来，师奶德开始两年几乎全中，而最近两年
