」[70] 保罗要求哥林多人在神面前省察他们自己的心，看看他们究竟是否真实得救了。
虽然他是在哥林多开创了教会，当他给他们写信时他却不以为凡事会想当然地顺利，乃

到自己所造成的痛苦、感覺到痛悔時的悲苦，就會懷有羞愧和罪惡感，這有時會讓人感
到難以負荷和極度痛苦。我們會懷疑是否能夠克服自己犯下的錯誤、感受到蒙得原諒後
的平安。有了耶穌基督的贖罪以及悔改的過程，我們一定可以做得到。我們可以向神認
罪，並尋求祂的寬恕。祂應許我們，祂將 「不再記住那些罪」 （ 教義和聖約58：42
）。

外一些儿女，命令他们记载下来，不是在纸上，而是在金属片上刻下来，由忠心的仆人
先知记录保存，并封存起来。

大卫．史特劳斯（David Friedrich Strauss），在1835年出版的《基督生平批判研究
》中总结道：“我们现在的研究结果，显然湮灭了基督徒过往相信的、关于救主耶稣基
督最重要且最宝贵的部份，根除了基督徒从信仰获得的生命力的动机，使他一切的安慰
都枯萎了。18个世纪以来喂养人类的真理与生命的无限宝库，似乎无可挽回地消散了。
至高超然者变得与尘土同等。上帝的恩典、人类的尊严，皆被剥夺。天地之间的连结，
也被切断了。”（注1）
这本书断言，福音书出自迷信时代，而启蒙时代的人无法再视其为上帝启示的真理与史
实，必须将之当作“神话”（mythus）来诠释。
史特劳斯深知，此举等于直接挑战基督信仰“最重要且最宝贵的部份”──上帝的话语
！
