检查所有浴缸澡盆的sealant，如果有损坏了，去HD买一个heavy duty的caulk gun，然
后买10oz的silicone在youtube上看视频自己重新reseal，然后检查所有门窗的sealant
，需要全部reseal，，这是最容易做的 |

发帖数: 114 | 7 我家宝宝两岁，奶瓶龋，看牙医哭闹得厉害，看了几个牙医都让全麻做牙。我们犹豫了
一个来月，最后还是下决心全麻做了。
当时给的估价是6个crown,还有其他sealant之类，我们自己掏1400 左右，保险报1500
（最高额），医院、麻醉另算，我们觉得还可以接受。先交了1400给牙医，后来到医院
要开始手术前，让我们签了个字，说牙医可以酌情处理。
现在我们又收到牙医1490的账单（write off 180美元），说是牙坏得比预计的多。我
看了下账单，crown 个数没变，但是resin有12个，有的收176（一般写的是 N/M, L,F)
， 有的收116 (H/F)。
我心里有点打鼓，为什么最后做下来比原来estimate我们要掏的高了一倍啊？医生的解
释就一句，坏的牙比预计的多。
sealant 是 40 一个。crown 是 375 （白色），银色是 220. Pulpotomy 是 136.
这个账单我们能够argue 吗？除了说比estimate高出一倍外，还有别的理由argue吗？

allinone也能至少管三个月呢。
玻璃上还是别用sealant，allinone过后就很滑了。

并不能明显增加反光度

发帖数: 17565 | 23 如果你要求苛刻的话，就算刚从dealer开出来的车，漆面都会有污染。你隔层塑料袋去
摸漆面马上就能感觉得到。这次我搞完以后发现，用橡皮泥抹干净，再用sealant seal
住后，因为表面有一层acrylic丙烯保护层，这东西是高疏水高韧性又有点弹性的东西
，尘土很难侵入其内。所以sealant才是真正的神器。 |

最近一次去外面洗（冬天实在不想自己碰凉水了），一狠心上了一个最贵的，15刀，比
普通的多了一个sealant和棕榈wax（非手工），但是我感觉整个过程没有比普通的长貌
似，车也是一直往前走，不知道哪一部喷的sealant，喷蜡倒是感觉到了好像，玻璃窗
上一堆黄乎乎的东西，出来干了以后检查某些部位也能看到蜡干了以后那种白色粉末，
不过比自己用polisher搞得肯定是效果差多了。
so这种贵的有意义吗？还是普通的就好 |

光。
如果车很低那clear bra可能有点用，但也要很多很多年才能看到区别。
wax一般只能坚持一个月吧，paint sealant可以坚持久一点。我觉得你喜欢车detail的
话，还是每次洗车的时候喷一点吧。就算有了coating还是要洗车。assuming你自己洗
车的话，上sealant或wax其实不用很多时间。 |

coolant and it is supposed to stop coolant from leaking. It

因为车有些漏机油，上次过smog check的时候garage的人 就
说需要换。最近发现漏的挺厉害，engine的盖子上面和四周
都黑糊糊油腻腻的。经过一番research，觉得并不复杂，尤
其得到bbs上flyinwind的热心鼓励，决定DIY。
买东西：
一个Valve cover gasket, 我买的是permadry molded rubber gasket，
aotozone $16, 不过看到网上还有更便宜的，不想等了。
一瓶RTV silicon gasket sealant $4
一瓶Stop Leakage, 用于最后换机油的时候添加用的。 $5
100个塑料手套，dollar tree，$1.
吃罢午饭开始工作。按照manual的指示，首先disconnect电池
的负极。然后卸掉air filter后面的大粗橡皮管子，以及连着这个
橡皮管子的塑料盒子(resonator)和塑料盒子下的支架(resonator bracket)。

先讲顺利的。之前要先做好功课。网上资料很多。
需要的工具：
1. jack/jack stand. jack 工具很重要，越大越好。
2. new brake pads. 从advanced auto pars 买的 ceramics。
3. bleeding kit（Autozone买的）。
4. new brake fluid， all purpose sealant
5. C-lamp.
换brake pads步骤和精华区里的差不多。
A. 先松车轮的螺丝，撑车，再卸轮子。刚开始买了个2 ton的jack 没有撑起来，又去
换了个3 ton的。
B. 用C-lamp顶住brake pad让刹车活塞慢慢回位。
C. 松Caliper 的螺丝，把caliper 拿下来，用绳子挂在悬挂上。
D. 取下brake pads, 换上新的.
E. 装上caliper, 上好螺丝。
好了, brake pads换好了。下面是bleed brake fluid.

leaking。 Flush Cooling System 然后加Sealant。 跑了大约30多迈，温度接近红区
。堵车
停一会，温度有所下降。关掉引擎，半分钟内又启动，温度回复正常，跑几迈后又升高。
第二天发现装满的coolant 少了大半。再装满，以后几天每次跑不超过5迈。Coolant
几天内不见减
少。 原来认为Cooling System 有泄漏，或是Head Gasket 坏掉，但现在又怀疑了。
