那你们的要求太高了.我们的数据量只有你的四分只一(50Million),
Solr即使随便放在一台五年前的老旧DELL上,速度都是可以接受的.
你的好象还只是Begin with类型的search.如果,我们配一个适合这种类型的field,
并只Search这个Field,速度应该 还会大幅提高.
Sol用于中型作用的数据,应该还是可以胜任的. |

就比如windows explorer里面，在一个有很多子文件和子文件夹的目录里面搜素，第一
次建index可能会慢一些，但是改变搜索字符串之后就很快出结果了。
比较好奇是用的什么来做incremental search的。inverted index? |

parent label的功能。OK这个忍了，只要parent label可以用来search也行。
但parent label就是无法用来search,非常蠢。label:不接受wildcard或者regex. from
这么脑残的设计一致到现在也没改，都几年了啊？ |

【1】学会抓包，其实很简单，chrome就有这个功能，右键inspect,然后选network，这
一步完全就是搞清楚这个网站是怎么search的
【2】怎么post,什么事form data,query string,怎么get,怎么cross domain，熟练运
用httpclient之类的东西
【3】怎么获得cookie，一些网站可能需要您登陆，一般就是cookie，如果没有那也就
太容易了
【4】研究他们的javascript代码,有些网站，很多保护措施的哦
说句实话，看到您问这个问题，我觉得如果您不是真的对这个感兴趣，趁早放弃，这个
真的需要十二分的兴趣，加二十分的努力，每个网站都有不同的名堂。除非兴趣爱好和

Goog 那page rank只是搜索引擎的一种。
抄了竞价排名，资本进入正循环，算法的实现提高，
然后才起来的。
搜索算法本身其实没多少短长。

发帖数: 5958 | 15 起个主贴把则个问题讲讲透。一般来说不可能写出一个各方面全优的算法。
比如速度，占用内存，精度一般不能同时做到最优。精度有各种评价方法，
一般也不能同时做到最优。所有这些方面构成一个design space。软件设
计的时候一般就是选design space的一个子空间，然后允许用户通过调整
(meta)参数来微调子空间中的位置。这个子空间的形状一般不是规则的，
参数一般也不是正交的。参数之间的各种关系可能连作者本人都未必想清
楚了。比如有时候程序写着写着会出来一个可以加参数的位置，然后就
出来一个参数。而且这种参数往往很多，一般会被命名为alpha,beta,
gamma,delta,eta,lambda等等，因为含义作者也没法用一两个英文字母
说清（有例外，比如regularization权重一般也是希腊字母)。
Grid search的问题是，很可能就碰到了那种作者都没有想清楚的奇葩
combination，这个combination恰好在用户的某个评价标准下(比如AUC)
高了0.001，但是在别的标准下差得比较多(比如accuracy差0.01,

I finally logged in the Celera web site and did a search.
I tried with a known protein sequence, but the result is
not satisfactory - it only give me partially aligned
sequence among their 26K predited sequence.
Details: I input a DNA sequence 600 bp, and the best fit
using BlastN is only three segments of perfect alignment.
(Note: I did the search against their transcript database.
So, there should be no intron in there.)

can match in many ways or one need to match multiple standards, science,
personality, direction, and the situation of the specific institute.

今年不知怎么被系主任挑中，加入了我们系的faculty search committee。committee
里其他人都是资深教授， 而我是
才混了几年的AP。
申请人280多，忙到深夜才看完一遍材料，发现这里面的水很深啊。系里的各路大佬已
经纷纷打招呼或暗示他们的首选人选了，不是他们现在的合作者，就是以前的同门同派
。说实话，这些人有的发的paper journal看上去很炫，但做的东西其实真的很不严谨
，经不起细考。我倒是发现一些申请人做的很扎实的工作，感觉
和自己应该会有共同
语言，但似乎没有任何大佬力挺啊。难道说系里招人都倾向于关系户吗？请教各位同行
，我做为一个AP, 开会时是表达自己的观点，还是顺着某些大佬说话，打打酱油算了？

For example, I type "cat" + "dog", the python pgm would return snippets of
text from those files (Just like Google search).
