之前可以从道歉信页面的twitter按钮直接搜索到9号和8号的tweets，但是现在分享的
人多了，就只能搜索pr62214了。
总之铁证如山，也许abc pr会要求那几个之前分享链接的用户删掉 |

在发考题版上看了很多经验，一直到现在才觉得有点值得写的东西，本人在国内20名左
右的大学毕业，有硕士学位，原来教育类专业，来美国在50名左右大学读学校心理学博
士学位，最后实习在20名左右的大学的医学院实习，因为后来有点偏向儿科心理学。没
有做过博士后。Fresh PhD, 从2007年9月开始找学校，准备材料，一共申请39个学校，
好坏都有。所有英文材料都经过老美教授的更改或者花钱让我的editor更正过。电话面
试很多，至少15个以上，12个学校邀请面试，最后去了8个面试，有4个面试来的很晚，
所以没有去，因为那时候合同都签了。面试历经3个月，从11月开始，2月初最后确定，
4个offers（好坏都有）。随后选择去了中西部的一个100多名的州立大学，小型城市。
工资是业内的平均水平，夏天可以授课，也可以不授课，2个课可增加10000美元收入（
research 2的大学）。如果女性，maternal leave是一个学期（有工资的）。最后把绿
卡申请的要求写在合同里面，因为家里人也需要我来申请绿卡，所以很重视绿卡政策。

很一般的学校。招人的学校（非top学校）在short list的时候，会选实力最强的呢，
还是会选和自己学校最match的？
2) 学校邀请campus visit的时候，一般对这3-5个candidates待遇一致吗？还是说邀请
的时候，其实已经对想招的人，已经有了比较明确的偏好？（我问这个问题，是因为我
去visit的一个学校，从其他candidates那边知道，我的meeting比他们少很多，当时就
让我感觉，其实我是在他们backup list上。这样，我发挥的机会也少，感觉不公平。
我不知道这个学校这样的做法，是否professional）
3) 还有一个比较具体的问题。一般都说国外的学校招人不会考虑性别、年龄、家庭情
况等因素。我发现，初步面试（会议、电话面试）的时候是这样，但到了on site，其
实都会有意无意的问到结婚与否，配偶做何工作，是否有小孩了。不知道search
committee最终决定的时候，这些因素是否会有所影响呢？ |

Dear Search Committee> Dear Professor. 在中文里好像叫处长比叫张处长亲热， 不
过英文里俺觉得，叫Professor Smith 要比Professor亲切。
第二个问题是心理学的问题，据说I'm interested in 比I'm applying要自信一些。
不过按觉不出来，大概是英文太差，语感不够。 |

During the interview, they told me that they are looking for people who can
fit into their department well.
Our paper presents some initial result of our work, so it is not a big work
for the moment.
But it certainly suggests my future work.
Since our paper is not on a top venue, I wonder if it will really help or
not.

normally the final result unless someone strongly opposes it, which never
