LA is also an exciting city
but going to seattle is good for your oral english, hehe
too many chinese in LA
this is the only aspect that I dont like LA
As to transportation, if you are familiar with LA's transportation system
you wont suffer alot.
And seaview, disneyland, universal studio, san diego etc etc can
give LA enough confidence to beat seattle's trees, let alone
the sunshine in southern CA |

to redyellowblu: 那个律师是个Paralegal,可能是负责填表等简单工作，还有另外一
个律师跟她一起做我的Case。公司的H1B都让他们做的，半天的活，居然还说我的CASE
是“very complex”，真是让人费解。看来是他们准备的不充分，不够敬业。我会找他
们要COPY的。 |

这里获益匪浅。复习的资料主要是著名的CareerCup 150题和PIE，另外我看的较多的一
本书是Java Software Structures: Designing and Using Data Structures (Third
Edition)。这本书对基本的各种数据结构提供了Java实现，对于coding很有帮助。另外
就是著名的Hacking a Google Interview，5个pdf档。
Google的HR是出了名的慢，我的第一轮电面整一个周出结果还算是平均水平，onsite我
估计怎么也得两个周。可这次仅用了两天就搞定了，真是出人意料。我觉得很大程度上

爸妈要过来帮我带宝宝，可是妈妈2月份查出来得了甲亢。现在正处在治疗期。她会带
一些治疗甲亢的药过来。。但是有些药对身体有损伤，所以她国内的医生建议每个月要
验血追踪一下身体的情况。。所以我在考虑给她买个保险。不知道这边什么样的保险会
cover验血。主要是检验白细胞，血小板之类的。。或者如果验血不是很贵的话我们也
准备自己出这个钱了。是不是家庭医生那里就可以做这些检查。还是需要去专门的地方？
请有经验的姐妹们给点信息吧。。多谢了

别的不知道，反正一般的保险都不会管以前的病，要是想定期验血这种，肯定不包。
不过也有保险包一部分以前的病，就是太贵，估计比验血费用都贵。
忘了多少钱了，我印象中好像一个月1000左 |

正在忙着把房子落实
现在考虑一个奥运Harbour Gree的2bed room, brand new with seaview,modern
designed with partial furnitures.7分钟到地铁站 landlord 要17,000 per month.
不知道是不是合适的价格.和港岛很多老房子比,这个太attractive了.
家具: 不知道是不是大家都是到IKEA去买呢?人山人海的,很多质量设计一般,价格也不
菲,不知道值不值,有没有second hand furnitures at good value?mover好找么?大概
多少钱啊?
家电: 需要买一个LCD TV,这里的价格怎么比美国贵了很多很多..甚至比国内还贵...大
家都是在哪里买的呢?

里长了太多的水草了，一卷卷的都打到岸边。看seaview的地方还挺多的，车街趴就行
，人也不多。要是有打鸟的镜头就好了，那里鸟还挺多的，大大小小的。 |

提供了解纽约市动物收容所寻找爱心家庭的方便信息。
据CBS纽约报道：六月份是动物收容所的猫咪领养月，着重帮助那些有点害羞的猫
咪找到合适的家庭。这些猫可能需要更长的时间适应新的环境，但他们也需要得到你的
帮助，找到一个幸福而永远的家。
从现在起至6月30日，如果你在曼哈顿、布碌仑和斯坦顿岛的动物领养所领养害羞
的猫咪，你可以免付收养费。
纽约市动物保护中心(ACC)是纽约市501(c)(3)非营利机构，每年收留约有3万只动
物。 它在曼哈顿(东110街326号)，布碌仑(Linden大街2336号)和史坦顿岛(Veterans
西路第3139号)设有三个收容所，开放时间：周一至周五12点至8点，周六和周日上午10
点至下午6点。

据CBS报道，纽约市动物护理中心(Animal Care Centers of New York City)，呼
吁广大纽约市民，如果有意领养动物，请关注以下信息。
据悉，纽约市动物护理中心，是一家非营利性机构，它是纽约市唯一一家不需登记注册
的动物护理机构，任何人和机构都可以把动物送至护理中心。护理中心将会免费为动物
治疗看护，每年接待动物大约有3万例。
纽约市动物护理中心有3个地址，曼哈顿326 East 110th Street，布碌仑2336
Linden Boulevard和史坦顿岛3139 Veterans Road West，开放时间为周一至周五中午

I booked a room with two beds in Sheraton Hotel for NBC, 4 miles from the
NBC hotel. From 6/23 to 6/26. Price was $110/room/night plus tax (so each
of us pays 55 bucks plus tax). I'm looking for a female roomate to share
