曼哈顿地区应该不是抽地下水了。 那种地方，以及沿海地区，抽地下水会造成海水倒
灌（SEAWATER INTRUSION)。用不了几年抽出来的就是咸水，然后整片地都变成盐碱地。
南加州ORANGE COUNTY这边，为了防止海水倒灌，把处理过的生活污水，再用反渗透和
高级氧化处理（都是狂贵，非常费钱的工艺，和瓶装纯净水的流程标准一样），处理过
的生活污水（就是下水道，冲马桶的水），可以达到直接饮用的程度。 然后把这个水
用水泵打到靠近海边的水井，注入地下，防止海水倒灌。 |

”结论说：如果没有进口大陆水，香港限水至少在2060年前无法克服。有网友发文驳斥
说 - 香港独立不了不是因为供水而是因为武力。该文引经据典了很多专业数据，论证
了香港淡水子给自足怎么轻而易举。大意是说香港有资金有技术有条件淡化海水，现在
淡化海水的花费比从大陆进口的东江水还便宜，云云。
其实，人类要大规模地靠淡化海水实现淡水自给，基本上就是一个神话。到现在为止，
就连那些富裕而又缺水所以拥有海水淡化最高科技的中东国家都还没有真正实现淡水自
给呢。我上篇文章提到新加坡将在2060年实现淡水自给，原来是错误信息。新加坡过去
曾经计划目标是要在2011年实现海水淡化淡水自给，现在计划的是2060年实现部分淡水
自给，注意只是目标。我正准备写一篇新加坡给香港大陆上了一堂什么样的课。明天就
写出来。
